We're excited to announce we're looking for part-time help! Come join our amazing team and play a crucial role in enriching the lives of dogs and their guardians! This position loves interacting with dogs and people in a positive and respectful manner. Greets guests and oversees general play area to ensure adherence to policies, assists in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, and encourages and reinforces positive interactions and connections with and between guests. Must be willing to work all shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
🐶 Must love dogs!
🐶 Greet and check-in guests.
🐶 Introduce new dogs/guests to guidelines and play areas and assist in acclimating dogs to play environment.
🐶 Oversee play areas to ensure safe interactions between dogs and guests.
🐶 Maintain a safe and sanitary environment including but not limited to cleaning and sanitizing all toys, equipment, play areas, etc.
🐶 Respond to customer inquiries.
🐶 Nurture positive relationships with dogs and guests.
🐶 Understand or learn about canine body language and group play dynamics.
🐶 Lift 50lbs, be comfortable on your feet for long periods, have good hand eye coordination, and be in decent physical shape.
🐶 Assist with special events.
Qualifications: Experience working with dogs preferred either in day care, veterinary, grooming or other service industry. Experience working with and interacting with a variety of customers and personalities (dogs and humans!) preferred. Comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes and knowledgeable of dog body language, or ability to learn. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Pet CPR/First aid certified or ability to be certified. Pay commensurate with experience.
