Blessed to see another year 🫶 Thank you for all love & support on this wild ride called life. I'm not perfect, I screw up a lot, but damn if I don't own my s**t and try harder each day to be a better person, mom & friend than I was the day before!!

We are an adult only, all female, barn looking to add a few more amazing women to our barn family! We've got trails on site, 2 arenas, 2 round pens, 2 lounges, stalls with fans, an obstacle course, and MORE! We offer full care in both our full and pasture board areas. We have Lauren Beck Horsemanship & Julia Farmer Lyons teaching lessons regularly, or you are welcome to bring your own trainer in to work with you. We have the best care team & schedule all routine veterinary, farrier, and practitioner (chiro, magnawave, dental) appointments for our boarders, or you are welcome to use your own provider & schedule your own

Married off our barn-daughter today 🫶

She’s not just our barn manager, we’ve known Hailey since she was a teenager coming to clinics here… Fast forward to her interning, then working for us after reconnecting a couple years ago & with her promotion to barn manager, becoming our neighbor & living on property this year. Being part of this chapter of her life has been nothing short of awesome & having her as part of ours, a true blessing!

Hailey & Davids wedding was perfect and we were so honored to be part of it! We wish them a lifetime of happiness and can’t wait see see them grow in their marriage 💗

This pasture is a great reminder that sometimes taking a break is the best thing you can do for yourself...

We pulled the horses, reseaded this field, and redid the fencing over the summer. We let it rest, recover, and come back to life the past few months... We were intentional with this much needed reset & need to remember to take the same care with ourselves 🫶

Today, we brought some horses back in... It's one of my favorite places on the farm, and I'm so happy to have horses back here!

We have 1 pasture board opening in this area. Please send a PM if you are interested in joining our barn family!

Our farm equipment gets baths more than our horses do 🤣 gotta keep"m clean & well maintained so they last and look good!!

We have the best supervisors! They always make sure the improvements get done properly and are grateful for the additions 🩷 Thanks to @lewisstrickland123 for helping us out and doing a great job, as always!

We lost a family member today… Chief has been fighting squamous cell carcinoma for some time. His owner & one of my dearest friends did everything in her power to help him fight! Today, he wanted to be done. Today, he wanted to stop fighting and rest. So today, we helped him do just that. With some of our barn family gathered around her (and many praying from afar), Colleen made the hardest decision a horse mom can make, to end his suffering and let him cross the rainbow ridge without her. She was inspiringly brave, and it was a beautiful sendoff. I am so thankful for our barn family, care team, and my amazing husband, who this has also hit very hard. Please lift this farm, our family, and my friend up in prayer and join us in celebrating a life well lived and the noblest of steeds, our Chief ❤

Our Story

LEATHERMAN LANE is a unique equestrian facility located in Concord, North Carolina. We are a private boarding and training barn, known for hosting clinics with top trainers from across the US during our Horsemanship Clinic Series throughout the year.

Leatherman Lane offers boarding to a select number of horses, trail riding by appointment, as well as clinics and private lessons throughout the year. You must have your own horse to participate in these clinics, lessons, and trail riding sessions (sorry,we do not have horses available for lease to ride our trails, you must have your own).
