Once a month, our book club gets together to discuss a different horse book we are reading (right now, it's Heart Horse).

Occasionally we will have reading days... days where we block off an hour or so of "me-time" and get together in The Meditation Pasture at Leatherman Lane with friends and horses to just read our books as well.

Until yesterday, I had only found time to read the forward on this book (which was captivating). Yet, I still couldn't find the time to sit down to enjoy it, with everything on my schedule... There was probably more talking and horse selfies than actual reading, but I did manage to get the first chapter finished, which was important since our first book club meeting will be to discuss chapter one! 🫶📖🐴

Our Story

LEATHERMAN LANE is a unique equestrian facility located in Concord, North Carolina. We are a private boarding and training barn, known for hosting clinics with top trainers from across the US during our Horsemanship Clinic Series throughout the year.

Leatherman Lane offers boarding to a select number of horses, trail riding by appointment, as well as clinics and private lessons throughout the year. You must have your own horse to participate in these clinics, lessons, and trail riding sessions (sorry,we do not have horses available for lease to ride our trails, you must have your own).
