Oh hey Lucy 👋

Lucy is with us for 2 weeks getting some training and puppy socialization. She is from a great breeder and her family has been doing an excellent job of crate training her so our job has been pretty easy so far.

She is a bit stubborn but that is an endearing term for us 😂 as most of you know we love our working breeds.

One of the best things about Lucy is she is not only cute but very environmentally stable. Loud noise? No problem. New people? No sweat. She approaches everything with a ton of s***k and her outgoing nature is perfect for training at this stage.

We absolutely can’t wait to see the adult dog she turns into and we are lucky to have her in training with us.

Say hello to Sky!

Sky is an 8 month old Doberman. Like many young working dogs who come to train with us, she was displaying a lot of excitement around other dogs as well as bossing her owner around from time to time. 😬

Fun fact: Sky came to us a crate ninja. In other words, she would resist going in the crate at all costs. After some hot dogs and using some ninja moves of our own, she now willingly goes in the crate for us. ⚔️

She still has work to do around new things like shopping carts and garbage bins, but we are doing a lot of confidence building with this sweet girl to reassure her and make training fun. 💚 she is getting more courageous by the day and is also an awesome loose leash walker.

We can’t wait to see how she does when she goes home in a week 📅

Murphy found himself the perfect humans to round out his journey with us! He is now feeling right at home with his new family. 💙

Is something missing from your life? Do you feel like that thing might just be a dog?

Well…this handsome boy is up for grabs! He would make a great running partner, hiking buddy, and family pet.

What we know about Franklin so far is that he is smart, high energy, and extremely affectionate with people.

He is also social with most other dogs, and his house trained.

Franklin is not yet neutered(he was found as a stray) and he does like to p*e on outside items. He does not mark his territory inside!!

He has guard dog instincts and with the right training could be a protection prospect.

He will be finished with his training in a few weeks, and you can contact us to find out more about this handsome young boy. We think he is about a year old.

Today, I'm taking it way back to the first client I ever worked with. Wilhelm K-9 Services

Let me preface this by saying...getting clients was NOT a problem for him. He had a great reputation. He had clients he liked working with. He didn't do ANY advertising and he was most always to full capacity.

There was just one, tiny(but also kind of big) problem:

The number of inquiries through his website and phone were overwhelming. He simply could not keep up. Not to mention, scheduling was not his strong point. He voiced that he knew he was losing out on clients because he was too slow to get back to them...
..and he was right!

He tried hiring an assistant to help schedule clients. But even she was overwhelmed.

In the midst of all this chaos, he discovered that his link to email and inquire through his Wordpress website was broken, and he also wanted one of the fonts changed. After hearing all of this, the solution became clear: we not only needed to fix the fonts and the email form--we needed to create a booking system on his website to make his life easier.

2 years down the road and over 2,000 bookings later, this client has more time to ride his bike, train his own dogs, and live life to the fullest because his website acts as a one stop shop for clients to visit, learn about his services, and most importantly, book!
