Here’s what’s in season on our farm ☀️ 🍃

Back by popular demand, we are once again producing microgreens 🙌

This week also officially kicks off our 2025 planting season.

We start our weekly baby greens seeding this week, as well as getting a host of other crops in the ground, namely beets, turnips, carrots, radishes, green onions, lettuce heads, kohlrabi, broccoli, cauliflower, Kale, collards, Chard, cabbage, potatoes, and on and on!

Do you ever run out of veggies by the time Wednesday rolls around? If so, our online store might be a convenient way for you to stay stocked while also buying local 😜

This week we’re offering broccoli shoots, radish shoots, sunflower 🌻 shoots, pea shoots, kohlrabi, beets, chard, kale, collards, and goodies from our partners, and !

Order before Tuesday at midnight to pickup Wednesday at these locations:

Thanks to all who stopped by the market this morning! If you missed us this week, no worries 💚 Here’s how to get our veggies each week:

1) order online from our store each Monday and Tuesday, then pick up on Wednesdays!

2) come visit us at the every Saturday

3) join our CSA veggie box and get weekly produce delivered! Pick up from various drop-off locations around the Charlotte area

Lately on the farm 🙂 Preparing for the coming seasons this year means starting a ton of trays: kale, collards, Chard, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, bok choy, Kohlrabi, green onions, beets, and fennel!

Ben’s also planning on getting the microgreens going again in our new micro-chamber, and beefing up the deer fence some more in preparation for our first outdoor plantings.

Our community is pulling through left and right for the mountain community! We had a pile of things in our studio space (that we are planning on turning into a farm store) and it was getting insurmountable to tackle with all of our other projects. With winter approaching, we won’t have much to fill the store. We thought it may be a good way to give back and provide temporary housing for a couple or small fam waiting on rebuild plans. More to come on that! Thanks to volunteers today the place is sparking and ready to get to the next step! We have a bit more to do like : - connect mini split (thanks @pcg_charlotte for grant funds to purchase this)!! - repair 2 windows - install fridge and stove -paint Furniture donations needed are (we are looking for this on marketplace as well) : -futon and/or queen bed and mattress - storage bins or dresser - coffee table - small bookshelf (optional) If you can help in anyway please sign up for a volunteer opp on our sign up genius or dm us if you can donate anything needed (we can give back once done and/or donate again). #keepsupporting #relief #rebuild #community
