Our community is pulling through left and right for the mountain community! We had a pile of things in our studio space (that we are planning on turning into a farm store) and it was getting insurmountable to tackle with all of our other projects. With winter approaching, we won’t have much to fill the store.
We thought it may be a good way to give back and provide temporary housing for a couple or small fam waiting on rebuild plans. More to come on that! Thanks to volunteers today the place is sparking and ready to get to the next step!
We have a bit more to do like :
- connect mini split (thanks @pcg_charlotte for grant funds to purchase this)!!
- repair 2 windows
- install fridge and stove
-paint
Furniture donations needed are (we are looking for this on marketplace as well) :
-futon and/or queen bed and mattress
- storage bins or dresser
- coffee table
- small bookshelf (optional)
