We work to place homeless pets in loving homes that are committed to their lifetime care. We make every attempt to answer all inquiries in a timely manner.

For the health and safety of everyone, we are currently limiting the number of visitors in our shelter at any given time. Masks are required inside the shelter, however we do not require them while visiting outside. All visitors will be asked to sign in.

Congratulations to Sookie, Annabelle, Thumbs, Matchstick, Lorelai, Piccadilly, Rufus, Cowboy, Lilac, Bradley, Rajah, Radar, Biff, Lilly, Mofeta, and August! 🥳

We're particularly excited for Biff and August, who were lonely hearts and had been available for adoption for more than 45 days!

We had an amazing time at the 73rd Annual Concord Christmas Parade “Silver Bells”! 🎉🐾🎅 Our staff and volunteers enjoyed waving and greeting everyone in attendance!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Yoga with Shelter Pets last night! It was so fun to practice alongside the adorable kittens 🐱 and share such a special experience. 🧘‍♀️

Join us for Paws to Read, a wonderful program where children in grades 1-8 can read aloud to our adoptable animals at the shelter! It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to enhance their literacy skills in a non-judgmental environment while giving our furry friends some much-needed socialization. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to the 200+ participants who joined us for the Frosty Paws 5K this morning! 🐾 It was a fantastic day filled with fun and smiles, all to raise funds for homeless pets and programs that prevent animal cruelty. Your support truly makes a difference!

Recently, the shelter hosted multiple trainings for our amazing volunteers in the Humane Education Center!

We were thrilled to have Maureen Prendergast, former Director of Outreach & Investigations at Animal Rescue League of NH, lead a training on rabbits. 🐰

One of our staff members, Brian Saltmarsh, also conducted a session on Dog Enrichment, a vital part of our Dog Enrichment Program that every volunteer in this section completes.

We take pride in the training our volunteers receive because the well-being of our shelter animals is our top priority! 💖

It has been brought to our attention that someone pretending to be the “SPCA” is calling about lost pets and asking for money to be wired in order to provide care. This is NOT us. We would NEVER ask you to wire money or make a request for payment regarding a lost pet. If you receive communication from anyone representing the SPCA requesting funds for a medical procedure – it is not us! Please be aware!
