Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord Merrimack County We work to place homeless pets in loving homes that are committed to their lifetime care. We make every attempt to answer all inquiries in a timely manner.

For the health and safety of everyone, we are currently limiting the number of visitors in our shelter at any given time. Masks are required inside the shelter, however we do not require them while visiting outside. All visitors will be asked to sign in.

Only one week until ! ❤

Every day, homeless pets at Pope Memorial SPCA rely on us for care, comfort, and a safe place to wait for the homes they deserve. From medical treatment and nutritious meals to warm beds and gentle attention, your support ensures they get everything they need to thrive.

This year, longtime volunteer Linda Fisher is generously matching the first $5,000 in donations—so every gift you give will go twice as far in helping pets heal, stay healthy, and find homes.

By joining us this Giving Tuesday, you’re supporting life-changing care—including vaccinations, spay/neuter services, cruelty prevention programs, and our community pet food pantry. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference.

Our Compassion Workshop at Pope Memorial SPCA is the perfect holiday break activity for animal-loving kids ages 9–12!

During this hands-on half-day program, participants will:
✨ Spend time in the shelter with our animals
✨ Learn how we care for pets
✨ Help with simple cleaning tasks
✨ Socialize with cats and dogs
✨ Make toys for shelter pets
✨ Enjoy games and more!

Eden is an Animal Intuitive & Medium who will share messages from pets to their people—whether they are living or in spirit. She’ll intuitively select audience members and deliver messages from their beloved animals of any species.

Meet Amber 💚

This lovely senior lady is ready to spend her golden years in a calm, cozy home of her own. Amber is a gentle soul who loves soft beds, steady routines, and people who appreciate the simple joy of a loyal companion by their side.

She can be a little shy when meeting new folks, but once you’re in her circle, she’s yours for life. Amber does well with respectful kids and may be able to live with another low-key dog or a cat who isn’t fazed by her presence. She’d also be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one and only.

If you have a peaceful home and a spot on the couch for a sweet senior, Amber would love to meet you. 🐾
