Every day the dogs, cats, bunnies and finches start their day with a warm greeting and a fresh bowl of food and water from staff and volunteers. They spend their day playing, resting, and snacking. These animals rely on us for many of these things, and thanks to you we’re able to continue providing them with shelter, warmth, full tummies – and lots of love.

The shelter is currently home to a group of adorable kittens diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). This developmental condition occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for fine motor skills, balance, and coordination, does not develop properly. It's important to note that this condition is NOT painful or contagious. ❤
These kittens are available for adoption and are eager to find a loving home! While their condition remains stable and does not worsen with age, they will thrive in an environment tailored to their needs, to include modifications such as carpeting and elevated dishes. Please keep in mind that they cannot live outdoors.
