JPh Equestrian, LLC (owned by Jennifer Phelan) is a Concord, Massachusetts show stable focused on quality instruction, proper horsemanship, and the highest level of care. JPh offers full-service board and training, as well as a robust lesson program and show schedule. We train and instruct horses and riders in classic hunt seat equitation and compete on the local and regional hunter-jumper circui

ts. Horses receive daily turnout, customized nutrition regimens with Purina grain and choice hay, and are worked in a way to increase fitness while preserving minds and bodies.

Congratulations again to Jen S. for concluding her postpartum comeback tour at New England Finals this week! Thank you to Melissa Mixer for allowing Jen to qualify on Brut Strength this summer, and to Shane Powell coming in with the finals ride when Bruno needed to tap out. Quality Z lived up to his name, and helped lay down some quality rounds. What a fun guy! Time to gear up for next year ….

Happy birthday, Sarah!! You’ve been such a great role model for our kids, supported our adult riders and all the things they juggle, brought along the babies, and look pretty great in the leadline ring with all of George’s catch rides this season. We love you and Jeter, and are so excited as you plan your next big moments with your fiancé.

Thanks to all who participated and supported our teams at our home IEA show Saturday! This event always reminds us how lucky we are to have our tight-knit community, and watching our kids enjoy each other’s company and work together under our captains’ leadership brings such joy. As for the adults, Grace sold over 900 raffle tickets, Mike announced although his kid left us for college, and our moms ran a tasty concession stand. If it takes a village, thank goodness it is this one. 💕

Our young Middle School team took Reserve Champion, missing a tie by one point. And our Upper School team with their home court advantage … came in dead last 😂 🤪. Gotta stay humble!

Highlights included
🥇Lily and Amina with wins in JV Novice and Future Intermediate Flat
🥈 Lauren and Avaleen taking second in Varsity Intermediate and Future Novice Fences
🥉 Amina, Avaleen, and Alma securing third in their Future Intermediate, Future Novice Fences, and Future Beginner WTC
🤍 Fio, Charlotte, and Amelia earning fourth in their new divisions, Varsity Intermediate Fences, JV Novice Fences, and Future Novice Fences
🩷 Stephanie debuting in Open with fifth places on the flat and over fences, Allison fifth in Novice, and middle schoolers Harvey and Maggie taking fifth in their WTC heats
💚 Catherine, Salma, and Catherine earning sixth in the walk trot and walk trot canter classes, Lily taking sixth in her JV Novice Fences, and Allison sixth in JV Novice Flat

And Dusty took horse of the show! We are so proud of all our horses putting their best hoof forward all day. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Mary for sticking around all day for photos. 📸

Back up north, Sarah took a full trailer to see her old boss Kristy McCormack for a clinic hosted by Wildwood. Great riding by all, including Emi on JPh’s Galileo, Allison on her new pal Arya, Avaleen on baby Dusty, Charlotte on Diva, and Sarah on Melissa Mixer’s Brut Strength.
