Roommates!

Introducing new animals to each other can be a positive experience.

We recommend tiring out your pet before introducing the new one. For a dog that may be a run or a walk. If it’s your cat, fetch with a stuffed mouse or play chase the feather game.

Give them plenty of space initially to observe each other. Don’t tolerate overly aggressive behavior! Use positive reinforcement and keep your OWN energy calm and friendly.

With time and patience most animals adjust beautifully!
