❤️‍🩹When you work with women in recovery this is the #1 rule-What happens in the barn stays in the barn! #2- There’s a proper way to introduce yourself to a horse, and it teaches boundaries and self control! #3- They have to learn who they are and whose they are! #4- And this one’s for me… the preparation starts long before they ever step foot in the barn!
Today we started a 14 week long journey with the ladies from the . We started a little later in the year than we normally do so the barn was chilly but the coffee was hot! It was a good first day!♥️ And the girls have given me permission to share some of their stories with you so you can expect to see some interviews intertwined with their session content as we journey through the coming weeks!

Do we give riding lessons/trail rides???

❓ Do you give riding lessons or trail rides? This is probably the biggest question I get from potential clients reaching out for the first time. My answer: Nope! But will you or your child ever get to be on the back of a horse? Yep! Probably!

🐴 The focus of sessions at River Ride Mini Ranch is 1. To get you or your child away from screens and out into nature and 2. To help you/them become confident, patient, courageous and compassionate leaders who have the ability to think critically and creatively, not just here at the barn but in your/their day to day lives.

🐴 While I do encourage people to go experience guided trail rides at other ranches, I’m here to tell you that some of the biggest growth that you or your child will ever experience will take place on the ground, face to face with a horse.

This just seems like God is trying to put an exclamation point at the end of a sentence! I shared with you about the sheep pushing through the stall gate the other day. In fact I shared two different reels with two different points. So this morning I come to the barn and the sheep have taken the gate to their pasture OFF THE HINGES(and were running loose in the barn lot)!🤯
So I’m just throwing this out there… If you felt like either of those reels were speaking to you, please pray and dig deep about anything else God is saying to you or anything He’s asking you to do! Trust me, I’m doing the same! I wanna believe it’s because I’m walking so free right now that the enemy can’t keep me locked up!🙌 And He can’t stop what God is doing in and through His children right now!
