Denali is back for a week with us, find him in our stories this week with other star 🌟 guests such as Mallory and strolling in the field with Liberty or wrestling with Rocco. He’s got a full week of fun coming his way.

Our first set of guest after vacation have some of the sweetest dispositions!

Don’t let these big dogs fool you. Bulldogs are typically lazy pups who love to snuggle, play well with kids, find new ways to make you laugh and aren’t often barkers. This breed is definitely a lover not a fighter type although occasionally may be aggressive towards other dogs proper training & socialization can help this greatly.

Be sure to keep your bull dog hydrated and make sure that hey don’t overheat when snuggling!!

Oh and one more thing, don’t let their grouchy expression or sad eyes fool ya either they are happiest lounging with belly and face rubs between spurts of energy, which is why they make great pets for less active homes.

Well, vacation was a success! We managed our appointments and a family camping trip in 14 days. We want to thank everyone for understanding that we too make time for ourselves.

I’m so blessed to have some amazing pups scheduled this coming week from new visitors to some faithful regulars. Let’s get back to providing these pups with amazing play time, water 💦 play and safe staycations while you the owners enjoy some time of your own. 🐶🐾🤩

I know many of you are just now getting out & about.

Many also know we’ve been open since March, and things have been picking up this month. I appreciate all of you who returned and are trusting us to give your pets an amazing boarding experience.

We have some things to tend to out of town and will be making use of the time by adding a camping trip to the end of our travels.

We will be closed 6/25-7/10 we will be resuming boarding services as of 7/12 thank you 🙏🏼

It’s texts like these that I simply love receiving!!
When you work just a little extra on helping a client with something like getting their dog to wait to get out of a truck until the owner allows, or wear the dog out at daycare through calm assertive leadership training, proper socialization and activity so the human can rest after a long day at work.

Today I am reminded of exactly why I decided to do what I do!

Yes I require an assessment and vaccinations prior to boarding or daycare, so that I can ensure these are the experiences everyone has when trusting us with their dog.

🌳 Birch sugar, also known as xylitol, is commonly found in sugar-free products like gum, candy, and even some peanut butter brands. While it may be safe for humans, it's extremely toxic to dogs. Even small amounts can cause a rapid release of insulin in your pup's body, leading to dangerously low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia).

🌿 Birch sap, often touted for its health benefits, can contain traces of xylitol. It's crucial to read labels carefully, as unsuspecting dog owners may unknowingly expose their pets to this harmful substance.

❌ So why should you avoid xylitol at all costs? The consequences can be severe, ranging from vomiting and lethargy to seizures and liver failure. In some cases, ingestion of xylitol can even be fatal for dogs.

This is Buster, his family went on a vacation and he’s been chillin out getting all the belly rub & fetch time. He’s even playing with everyone’s favorite Floof Mallory and pibble Libby.

His mom took advantage of our add-on chicken 🐔 feet & beef 🥩 collagen chews, even saying which ever he likes the most he can have 1 treat a day of his stay.

🌍✨ Happy World Baking Day, paw-some parents! Today, we're celebrating our love for baking and our furry companions with a tail-wagging twist! 🎉 Let's whip up some homemade treats that'll have our pups begging for more, and the best part? They're healthy, allergy-free, and oh-so-delicious! 🐶💖

🥕🍠 Carrot & Sweet Potato Pupcakes 🍠🥕

Ingredients:

1 cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup mashed sweet potato
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth
1 egg
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, mix together the oat flour, grated carrot, mashed sweet potato, applesauce, water or broth, and egg until well combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Hello fur families, I just wanted to share with anyone who may be interested in this paw-some event! Looks like a great opportunity.

On Saturday, June 8th, from 10am to 2pm the Humane Society of Northwest Montana will have the "All Things Dog" fundraiser!🐾🐾🐾🐾 There will be over 20 vendor booths, food trucks, games, contests and the "Flathead Fast Kat" race!

Well behaved dogs are welcome however, they must be on a leash and under control at all times. Proceeds of the event will go to help abused, abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats in the Flathead Valley.Please join us, its sure to be a DOG GONE GOOD TIME!!!🐾🫶🐾
