Leon County Youth Livestock Show

We had two great families complete this week and they did amazing! Both made sale with their barrows and killed it in showmanship! The Boyd Boys did great with a sale making market gilt and Carter was Champion peewee showman! Addi H. brought home Champion Jr. Showman BOTH days under two different judges and in addition she brought home Grand Champion Breeding Gilt!!

Okay here comes the yearly long sappy fair post…..
First and foremost I want to thank each of my families. Each of y’all bring me so much joy when getting to know your kids. There is never a boring lesson when I get to hear about their past week and other adventures they are on. These kids are not only showman they are also soccer stars, in ROTC, play instruments and so much more! With all these other activities these kids still get in the barn and put in the work.

This is the first year we have seniors and let’s just say it’s going to hard to see them go. We know this isn’t a goodbye but a see you soon. This girls have a bright future ahead and I can’t wait to see where life takes them. Paisley and Nicolette you will forever be apart of the B2B family and I am forever grateful for that.

To our extended B2B family thank you for trust us in your barns while y’all go run the roads! While we know we can’t take all the worry out of being away we hope you give you some relief knowing that the barn is in full operation.

To our past B2B kiddos, always remember that once you are apart of our family you always have a home here. While we my not see each other as often I can guarantee that we are out in the stands cheering you on!

Had a great clinic this past weekend for Montgomery ISD! We had Karis Down as an instructor and she shared her insight in what it takes to be a successful showman!
