✨ Prepare to be Dazzled! ✨

This precious tripod is 3 years old and a perfect size at 30lbs. A volunteer recently took Dazzle out and said she was an absolute doll:

“I had the pleasure of spending some time with sweet Miss Dazzle. She is a petite little girl who gets around just fine. She loved to lay down in the grass and just bask in the sun and enjoyed rubbing her back on the grass. She is friendly and enjoyed some pets. She wasn’t too interested in treats and she really just wanted to explore a little and enjoy her time outside. Dazzle is a loving pup and I’m sure you’d be just as inspired as I was by her sweet nature and the resilience she has shown. She should be snuggling up on a cozy bed at night and I’m sure she’d make the sweetest, most grateful little companion.”

Black dogs have a harder time getting adopted, just ask Odin. 😞 Odin is one of the goodest boys at MCAS and still waiting patiently to be adopted. By now, you’ve seen a couple of posts on our page , maybe this time it will finally pull you in to meet him! Odin recently went on a Foster for the Day outing and had a blast! This is what volunteer, Rebecca had to report about him;, “Odin is the doggo you didnt know you needed in your life! First stop of the day, Starbucks Pup cup! Odin really enjoyed it!😁 Then we went for a long walk around The Woodlands Waterway.
Next stop while I caught my breath, he napped and we just drove around in the AC.
Last stop, Burroughs Park for some grass under his feet. Odin was a REALLY good boy, he listened, and obeyed while on the leash. He was never aggressive and met everyone nicely with a wagging tail. Odin is a very happy and well mannered doggie!

MCAS is Your Shelter

MCAS is located at 8535 Hwy 242 in Conroe, TX. The shelter is open 6 days a week for adoptions: Tues-Sun 11:30-5pm and is CLOSED MONDAYS. Intakes are done Tuesday and Wednesday, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 to 4:00. The shelter does not process intakes from citizens on Monday or Thursday. Citizens turning in animals must be residents of Montgomery County and not reside inside the city limits of Conroe (Conroe residents must surrender animals to the Conroe City Shelter).
