Dr. Kylie Bruce welcomed her third little boy into the world early yesterday morning! Everyone is doing well.

We wanted to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time. We know clinic cancellations and rescheduling is a hassle, but we will do our best to accommodate.

We would like to remind everyone of Dr. Bruce’s upcoming due date! PLEASE watch your email and our page closely, as last minute clinic cancellations are possible.

What happens if you miss your scheduled clinic day? We are working hard to set our post- baby schedule which will start in October. We will accommodate those cancelled appointments as priority at our upcoming clinics. We have a handful of dates and locations already set.

Due to the excessive heat, in order to ensure the safety of our clients, patients, and staff we are cancelling tomorrow's clinic in Haysville.

Coming up July 17th! ALPHA is designed for low-income families whose pets are in need of urgent care type services. This might include: ear infections, lameness, skin issues, injuries, etc. This is NOT a vaccine or wellness clinic nor a spay/neuter clinic.

This is a first come-first serve clinic and walk-ins will be accepted until 2:30pm. We cannot guarantee that everyone who comes will be seen. Please plan for a wait so bring water, chairs, etc.

Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers.
A maximum of two pets per household.
There is a $25 copay.

We love our street cats!! Excited to be apart of yet another successful event for Paws In Oz Inc.

Please help them to achieve their goals so they can continue to provide care to those most in need!

We are right around the corner from our first Street cats feral event! We have been working hard to fundraise for this event alongside our regular clinics.

No household pets are allowed at this clinic and it is full! We have been able to dedicate about $2000 specifically for this but the rest will come from our general funds which impacts our help at our traditional clinics.

Help us support those that often times people can't/aren't able to pay for.

Make sure you tag your donation with "keep the street cats healthy" "towanda ferals" or even "the street life" so that we can provide the best care we can for them!

We're partnering with Dr. Bruce with Bruce Veterinary Services for a one-day, low-cost, spay/neuter clinic! We have 24 spots for cats and 9 for dogs! It will be next Thursday, June 27th at our KHS front parking lot in the Bruce Veterinary Services' ambulatory clinic. Check-in from 8:00-8:30 AM in the front parking lot of the Kansas Humane Society. Pick-up is between 5-5:30 PM on the day of surgery.

KHS is also providing the microchips, bordatella, and rabies vaccines. 💉 Special thanks to Petco Love for providing the FVRCP & DA2PP vaccines!

CAT SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY - $75

Ferals are welcome but must be in a live trap

🚨REACH OUT🚨 We continue to set new clinic dates in various communities to help provide as much accessibility to our services as we can!

✨DID YOU KNOW✨ We do NOT income restrict. EVERYONE qualifies to take part in our clinics. You also do not need to live in the town/county (or state for that matter), to schedule with us. We are happy to provide services to anyone wanting to spay/neuter/vaccinate their pets!

😞😞We have received over 100 requests this week alone to take in cats and kittens. We have taken in 25 in the past few days (like this little dude) but we are maxed out at this point. We are incredibly sorry but our resources aren’t infinite. PLEASE spay/neuter your cats! TNR the neighborhood cats! Just ONE surgery on ONE cat will prevent thousands of others from suffering.

Our S/N is currently booked out for about 4 weeks but Bruce Veterinary Services has openings as early as next week. Do the right thing… PLEASE.

We wish we knew of other places who had openings but we don’t. Everyone is just drowning at this point. Hug your fur babies a little tighter tonight for they are the lucky ones.

We are excited to be partnering on another one of WAAL's wonderful outreach programs!! We will be putting our dental machine/skills to good use for this project!

🚨We are honored to announce that we've been chosen as an Official Partner with Pets for the Elderly! 🚨

Due to this partnership, we will be able to offer dental services for pets belonging to low-income senior citizens which is a constant need! By providing this service to our community, we will be able to keep pets living with seniors happier, healthier, and hopefully provide them with a longer life span!

We are still putting together this program so please just watch our page if you know of a pet and an owner who might need this service. We are not currently accepting applications yet.

We would like to thank Pets for the Elderly for this incredible opportunity to support pets and their people in Sedgwick County, and we are excited to see how this grant will help us keep pets in loving homes! We'd also like to thank Bruce Veterinary Services for partnering with us on this project!
