Bug Update: this is what my camera roll consists of💩 we've introduced a bit of grain back into her diet. Doing great on bowel movements after some turnout galloping the last few days. Water intake is still less than I'd like but we're steadily working in the right direction🤎

Bug update: eating a lot better but still not 100%. She's tired of the alfalfa mash and not drinking as much as she usually does. My main concern was she was still (as of yesterday evening) only p**ping once in about 8 hours. I gave her some turnout time to move around and play and after that, she drank well and had several stools overnight🤎 so we may be turning the corner!Around here, we pray for p**p 💩

Well, Show of Champions didn't go quite as well as initially expected. Bug came off the trailer super stressed and as the show went on it just became worse and worse after showing one class. By sundown, I had several conversations with some trusted friends and they helped me confirm the decision that my gut was trying to tell me and a call to the vet was made. All of my Arkansas Valley Horse Show family helped and supported me as I loaded up and hauled to the vet. Bug's belly ache was quickly taken care of and the team at got her feeling so much more comfortable in no time! Thank you to all who helped me out even in the tiniest way. Y'all know who you are and I couldn't begin to try and include everyone in this post but a BIG thank you is about all I can say at this point! I'll have more info to you as I receive it. Plus, on how much our one trophy is worth after this😂

Another year has passed and the long hours spent training Bug has got us a tiny step closer to being something in the show pen🥰
