Always try to help pets in need!

IF YOU FIND A HYPOTHERMIC ANIMAL

1. DO NOT FEED
2. DO NOT SUBMERSE IN WATER

1. DO get out of the weather and inside
2. DO dry off
3. DO talk to
4. DO stroke to stimulate blood flow

GET TO A VET IMMEDIATELY!!!

If you feed a kitten with a temp below 97 you can KILL it!
If you warm them up to fast you can KILL it!
If the animal is frozen to the ground DO NOT PULL IT OFF!

Get LUKE WARM tap water and pour it around and under the animal. that water is warmer than the snow and air and is going to feel like FIRE to that animal's nerve endings. Think about stepping into a hot tub and how hot it feels. Again you DO NOT want to use hot water. Then Immediately dry the animal off, wrap it in a towel, shirt etc. and get to the nearest vet office.

Steady and slow is rule of thumb. A vet can treat the animal for shock and hypothermia using a series of injections and warm IV fluids and an incubator.

Losing ears, tails, toes or a leg is workable. Damaging internal organs isn't.

Everyone needs someone to lean on! These two cuddle bugs have been the bestest of friends for the last couple of years!

Hi friends and family!

This is Fiona and here’s a little about her:

Fiona is only 35 lbs and 5.5 years old. She has a spinal injury that she got as a young puppy. With physical therapy over the last few months, she's walking 90% of the time on her own but she does have some incontinent issues. So, she does need to potty outside often and where a diaper when inside. She's friendly with other dogs when meeting them, but has guarding issues and has not done well with other dogs in the home. She did live with a cat before so she'd probably be alright with a cat if it stayed away from her.

She’s currently in a boarding home, and is seeking her forever loving home!

Had such an amazing time watching this beautiful husky! She was the most sweetest and loving baby! She wouldn’t leave my side and I definitely couldn’t leave hers!

As summer approaches please remember how important it is to make sure your fur baby is well hydrated!

Long period of time in the sun is not healthy for them, they can heat stroke a lot faster then us! Keep them well hydrated and cooled off as much as you can! But also make sure you both are having fun!

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday!

I just wanted to introduce my first babies!

Lyla is my shih tzu mix is about a year old! She’s a very playful and loving cutie who can’t get enough of her mom! I take her almost every where with me. And I can never say no to her precious face!

Luna is my stray rescue! We rescued her when she was throwing a tantrum in our garage knocking everything over as a kitten! I have trained her, taken care of her, and loved her as I first got my eyes on her!

These babies are my whole heart!

I can’t wait to meet your babies who mean the absolute world to you!
