Meet our Clinic Cats, Hops 🐈‍⬛ and Dust Bunny 🐰

Hops is an Aries (miss independent) who enjoys when fellow Angry Cats come in for their appointments. Her job duties here include lab work (*testing the weight limits of the machinery*) and testing the prescription food 😅. Her biggest fear in life is us running out of said prescription food. 😄

Dust Bunny is a Virgo (totally focused) who loves all patients who come to the clinic, particularly those who ask to pet her. Her job duties include cleaning (the dust pan), pest control, and staring creepily at patients in post-op care 😄. She has absolutely no fears except someone breaking the dust pan.

The parasites are having a party in your yard this time of year!! There are SO many different ones and we know it’s so confusing to know which test checks for what 🤯….so we decided to just bundle up a big once-over for ALL the things - for $89! As with everything, early detection is key and much easier/less expensive to treat! 🪱

Rounding out Vet Team Appreciation Week, meet Ziah! He gets automatic points for being the solo guy in an office full of women, and he’s basically got his own fan club of clients who call just to talk to “that nice young man” 😄😍😂…you’re the best, Ziah!

Vet Team Appreciation Week continues….meet Alli!!! She is newer to our herd but she fits in so well, it feels like she’s been here all along. Alli is so good at people-ing and we’re so proud of how she’s also diving headfirst into the clinical side too!

Hops 🌾 the clinic kitten just got spayed….and the only reason she did not curse us into the beyond over skipping breakfast for surgery was because Chicken Crack awaited her on the other side….😂 Thanks Barbara Andrews for feeding our little addict and saving us from kitten karma! 🔮

What’s on your *bucket* list? Adopting a kitten, perhaps? 👀 These two girls need homes! They’re litter box trained and are good with other cats, and dogs. They’re typical precious adorable kittens! Contact us for details. 💕

Okay his name is 🪕 BANJO 🪕 and he has already gained 4 ounces! He still has some vision issues in one eye but overall he is doing well and improving. He currently has us on staff as his personal restaurant…his meals are all but a charcuterie board!! Grapes, applesauce, baby food, cat food, and yogurt! 😋😋

One minute you’re being chased by dogs, the next you’re eating your favorite snacks and binging Netflix! 🫐🍓📺 Little baby possum boy here survived a multiple dog attack, and after treatment he’s doing very well. He’ll be rehabbing with Dr L until he is ready to go back into the wild. Until then….what should we call him? 🤔😍

If you’re wondering why we are always talking about deworming….behold! 💀🪱 These are 🪱roundworms🪱 out of an 8 week old puppy. Prior to getting dewormer, what you see here was happening in his belly, causing not only discomfort but making it difficult for him to absorb nutrients his body needs. If you’re adopting and especially if you’re buying from a breeder, and you want a healthy puppy, confirm with them before committing that the dog has been on a deworming schedule since 5 weeks old. Then, continue a deworming schedule as part of their sets of puppy vaccines. As a reminder, HEARTworms are different than these INTESTINAL worms. Both wreak havoc but there is good news! There are several products out there that can be given once a month to prevent BOTH heart and intestinal worms. Remember, it costs less to prevent than it does to treat!

When the boss demands an outdoor outing, you make it happen even if it’s a busy Monday morning 😄😄😄

Y’all we are about to be parents!! 😂🤩🦆 The ducklings are starting the hatching process! This can take a while and it’s important to just let them do their thing. Hatching is hard work! They will likely take breaks throughout the process. Once hatched, they can stay in incubator for up to 24 hours on their own. It’s toasty and cozy in there! ❤️ More video coming as they get closer! 🤩

Shrimpy cat 🍤 will only accept us as his Valentines if we help him catch his *love* bug 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😍
