Rescue Me Mo animal sanctuary

Rescue Me Mo animal sanctuary Place for animals to just be safe to do what they were ment to do....enjoy life. We are a SANCTUARY! Plenty of hugs and noogies are available also.

We have gone sanctuary…that means we can’t adopt out, we don’t have a license for it BUT we can foster and we still have the same rules to follow, animals still get shots, worming and spayed or neutered. We can help guide you to a facility that can adopt but we are staying with the elderly hard to adopt larger dogs and a couple of unruly cats and horses. Here…each dog is in a 32x32 pen or larger

and most have a buddy with them. Everyone has their own doghouse stuffed with straw in the winter months. They are free in the pens to run and play as they like...they can sleep with no worries and never have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. The cats have their own building but we still don’t have electric in it. Would love for someone to come along and help with that project. So as you can see we always need volunteers and donations still.

Just a note for residents in the Conway community….
Recently I posted an advertisement for a yardsale we are having this weekend May 2nd and 3rd in Phillipsburg to raise money to spay and neuter local animals and for extra dog and catfood that I can give away to help someone who needs it. I had shared it in the group Conway neighbor helping neighbor. Recently they deleted it….reason was, they won’t share anything that lines my pocket, sell s things…..and it’s about helping individuals. I have a lot to say about that but have decided after several attempts at helping the community of Conway and getting no help in return and only negative responses besides a couple people….I will no longer be helping the community of Conway…please don’t call me for dog or catfood, straw, doghouses or checking on an animal. I can’t do it without support no matter how small of support it is.
I am on this earth to help the animals and I’m sorry I can no longer do it in Conway. I have extended myself to the limit. I will however help what I can in Phillipsburg. They seem to appreciate us more and are there when we need something.
Wishing you all the best.

If you weren't aware, the national cat rescue organisation- who I sharn't name- have once again proven their inability to run a party in a brewery and are no longer providing financial assistance in neutering cats.
Many veterinary practices around the UK have withdrawn support of this 'national charity'.

This leaves us with issues of people EXPECTING financial help ahead of getting a kitten this year, and then having no means to pay for this basic care.

PLEASE keep yourselves informed of the financial landscape of pet ownership.
On top of the lack of financial support for neutering, it is also now UK LAW to microchip all cats over 20weeks of age (as they should!)- but also adds another cost to cat ownership.

As our own *privately-run non-registered* 100% volunteer group, we help where we can- but we have nowhere near the financial support that this national REGISTERED CHARITY claims yearly.

Therefore, PLEASE do not come to us looking for financial assistance for basic veterinary care, when you know your pet will be in need of such care before you acquired him/her.

I know this is harsh and I am sorry. We will help truly desperate owners- but cannot pick up yet more of the pieces this CHARITY, whos CEO earns OVER £100,000 per year, has dropped. The whole reason we exist is because our group of volunteers were bullied and the local branch of the National Charity was closed, with no intention of reopening and helped local needy, homeless cats.
Their income reported on 31st December 2023 was £89, 272 MILLION.
Why anyone needs to sit on that amount of funding and not use it for its intended purpose, is lost on me.

We did look into becoming a registered charity ourselves thinking it would open more doors for funding and we could therefore help more cats, but honestly it seemed like a scam. Paying out your donation money in admin fees, bank accounts and more; is all money that should be going to our cats. So we decided against it.

PLEASE CONSIDER IF YOU CAN TRULY AFFORD MEDICAL FEES BEFORE ACQUIRING A NEW PET.

Thank you
