Hey folks! This is Scott Robnett, and I am the owner of Original Nut Grub. I am beyond thankful for so many things this year.
1. Our Nut Grub team - Terry, Bucky, Jeff, Debbie, J.C., and Luke. These guys bust their tails each and every day! I told my wife that it is such a huge blessing to me to have people that care so much. It is my belief that each and every customer can see that commitment to quality, delivery, and customer service!
2. Our dealers/retailers - To quote my late best friend, Pat Murphy, you guys ROCK! When I bought the company March 24, 2023 I went into it knowing that there had been some kinks in delivery, etc and I realized we had some relationships to rebuild. And I am so thankful for your grace! I told each and every one of you that we would build a supply chain that is rock solid and praise God we were able to accomplish that and more only ensuring that Original Nut Grub and our peripheral products would always be available! So, thank you for being a HUGE part of the Original Nut Grub family!
3. Our customers - You guys and gals are the backbone. Want to know what really humbles me? The fact that we had to raise our prices the first year substantially and we sold more bags than ever before. THAT….is a customer base that loves our products and realizes the quality that we put in each bag! As a result of those sales, we were even able to buy our raw materials cheaper and that resulted in a better price for you! Plus, every time we get a comment or DM of a buck that was killed using Original Nut Grub (hundreds) it just serves as more affirmation that original Nut Grub is the best deer feed on the market! Your loyalty to this brand is so incredibly humbling and I don’t want you to ever think that we don’t recognize and appreciate it.
4. Our supply chain - We set a goal early on to ensure that we had rock solid partners so that our dealers/customers don’t have to wonder if Original Nut Grub was going to be available. And while we had a hiccup early the first year, we have assembled a fantastic replacement and have continued to work with these suppliers that offer second to none deer feed/attraction products such as our HerdMax Plus line that you will be seeing all over the mid south this spring! To say that we have caught the attention of a MAJOR player in the hunting industry would be an understatement! They are just as committed to building better deer herds as we are and we are excited for that launch coming soon!
5. Our competitors/haters - Yep, I’m saying it. I am even thankful for you! Every time we have interactions with you, it only drives me more to put the pedal down and do even better for our customers. So, keep it up! Mess with the bull, you get the horns. I tried to tell you….
