It's a bird! It's a plane! No! It's me! DYNOMUTT!! Feeling lonely and need a friend? Need someone to get you off the couch and out into the world? Then look no further! I'm the superpup you've been dying to meet! I'm an energetic boy with all the dashing charm you would expect from a superpup. I don't know all the fancy tricks just yet, but I'm wicked smart and will pick up on them fast. All the thanks I need in return is hugs, kisses, toys, and treats! There's not better deal than that. So, let's get this dynamic duo going and pick me up TODAY!

I bet you're wondering why an old man like me is here. Whelp, lemme tell ya. M'name's Dozer and I'm practically perfect in every way...Until those pesky storms come a rollin' in. I get real freaked out when they come so I do everything I can to bust out of the fence or crate I'm in. Otherwise, I'm a dream. I'm laid back if my people are laid back and I'm playful when other animals are playful. I even lived with a ferret! So, lemme jus' make this real easy and list out ALL the benefits of having me as your good buddy. I'm housebroken, crate trained, get along with dogs, cats, ferrets, kids, and most importantly I'm a loyal, loving, handsome gent! If ya got the patience to help me with my fear of storms then ya won't regret taking me home.

The owner was found!!! Thank you so much for all the community members who helped us find this babies owner!!!
Did you know; that if an animal stays close to the area it is found, it is 70% more likely to go home! When they come to the shelter, the statistics drop to 17%! Thank you so much for being willing to search for the owner!

We are so excited to see some of our amazing babies go home!!! What an amazing couple of days! We were able to reunite Hera and Blue with their humans, and see our best friends Cuddles off to his new home with his best bud Cilla! Last but not lease Cotton went home to a great family!!!
On another great note, four puppies were taken into the Best Friends Animal Societies foster program, and two baby kittens were taken into the Community Cat's of Central Arkansas foster / nursing program! We are so grateful for our amazing community!

REUNITED WITH THEIR HUMANS!!!

Hey there, I’m Blue, and what a wild week it’s been! One minute, I’m cruising with my family, living the dream. Next thing I know, I’m here at the shelter, barking for attention. My buddy Hera and I ended up here because our old folks couldn’t keep up with our charm.

I miss my old life, sure, but I’m a glass-half-full kinda guy. At 8 years young, I’ve still got pep in my step, even if my joints creak a bit. And yes, I might pull on the leash—so many smells, so little time! But underneath it all, I’m a gentle soul with a lot of love to give.

I’m housebroken, though I might need a gentle reminder now and then. Give me a chance, and I’ll show you just how much joy and laughter I can bring into your world. Let’s make a love connection—come meet me, Blue, your future partner-in-crime!

Conway Animal Welfare is excited to come hangout with our amazing hosts at the Toad Suck Harley Davidson's Critters and Cruisers Pet Adoption Event! We will be out with St. Francis's Dr. Ashley Custer for an amazing low cost Microchip clinic to try to help the pets of Conway get back home! Tags are easily lost, but a microchip ensures that we can get your baby back home where they belong! Come see us Saturday July 27th from 11-2 pm!

Conway Animal Welfare is asking for help with a project which will give much needed enrichment for the dogs in our care. Boy Scout Troop 534 is seeking donations to help build a large dog run that will allow our dogs to have group play at the Conway Animal Shelter! Hear me out. I KNOW my name, Godzilla, makes it sound like I'm going to tear up the house like my own Tokyo playground...I promise that's not the case! I'm an absolute sweetheart. Everyone is my friend, whether two paws or four. I'm gentle on a leash. I sit when asked for the pets and kisses you're sure to give me. I'll even avoid jumping on you! Well...ok I'm really good at NOT jumping, but I do get excited sometimes. I have long legs which will need plenty of room to stretch...but if you've got a heart big enough to fit me then I'm ready to walk straight in!

Gosh, I don't know...I'm Peppers and I'm more a keep to myself guy around here. Everyone feels like they need to be real loud. I'd rather sit here and watch folks pass by. I'm the strong, silent type if ya know what I mean? I seem stand offish until ya get to know me then I'm old reliable for whatever may be troublin' ya. Everyone keeps saying, "Good golly, Miss Molly!" Each time they do I just get soooo excited! Every new face is a new friend to make. I'm as proper as a lady should be. I walk primly on a leash, sit pretty for a treat, and keep down all four of my feet! I prefer to use the bathroom outside to keep my space tidy...but accidents happen. The only thing I'm a little shy about is having my head touched. I don't get nippy or anything, I'm just not quite used to objects moving towards my face. If we can go slow then let's get this on the roll!

I don't think Blue suits me very well, but that's what my previous owner called me...So, we'll stick with it for now! I'm a smart boy who could learn a different name, if you can help me think of one. My pictures definitely catch my most handsome side...but what you can't see is just how small I actually am! They say when you stop growing it means you've reached perfection and I am THE perfect dog! I love kids and dogs. I like to do my business outside and leashes? Pfft! I got that catwalk strut down pat! Come sit a spell with me and you'll see I'm simply to die for. All it'll take is one flop into your lap for your heart to be mine!

H-Hi...I'm Romeo and I was on a stroll with Juliet when an officer picked us both up. I-I know I look scary, but I absolutely melt into the floor when you approach. I'm rather shy a-and I'm trying to learn how to this giving affection thing in return. Every time I show my belly I try to give gentle licks to show how much I appreciate them. I just...*sigh* P-Please take me home. I wanna be a good companion. I just need a quiet place to learn. I just need a chance...Will you be my safe space?
