🐾 Now Hiring! Full-Time Receptionist at St. Francis Veterinary Clinic 🐾

If you’re someone who thrives on staying organized, connecting with people, and doesn’t mind a little pet hair on your clothes, we’d love to meet you.

We’re looking for someone who checks these boxes:
✔️ Exceptional communication skills - in person, over the phone, and via email
✔️ Highly organized - detail-oriented with the ability to stay on top of a busy schedule
✔️ Strong multitasking ability - phones ringing, clients checking in, dogs barking? No problem.
✔️ Team player - collaborative, reliable, and easy to work with
✔️ Positive and professional demeanor - you’re the first interaction with clients :)
✔️ Comfortable with technology - you’ll be working with scheduling software and client records

🐶 Bonus points if:

-You have experience with Cornerstone and PetDesk!
-You have knowledge in Vet Med

At St. Francis Veterinary Clinic, we’re proud to offer compassionate care in a welcoming, supportive environment. As receptionist, you play a vital role in setting the tone for each visit.

🌟 A Bittersweet Farewell to Angel 🌟

It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who has become such a special part of our clinic family — but we are so proud to celebrate this next chapter for our dear Angel, who is off to attend LSU Vet School! 💜💛

Angel first joined us in 2021 as a part-time kennel assistant, and over the years, we’ve watched her grow into a skilled and compassionate full-time veterinary assistant. Her heart for animals, eagerness to learn, and dedication to our team have never gone unnoticed.

From caring for boarders and foster pets to supporting client education and even lending a creative hand with our social media, Angel has worn many hats — and she’s worn them all with grace, warmth, and reliability.

One of the things we’ve admired most is her passion for making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and secure during their visit. Whether it’s offering gentle reassurance or encouraging “happy visits,” Angel always goes the extra mile to make the experience better for our patients — and it shows in their wagging tails and relaxed purrs. 🐾

Watching her growth has been an absolute joy, and while we’ll miss her deeply, we know she’s destined to do incredible things on her path to becoming a veterinarian.

Angel, thank you for everything you’ve brought to our clinic and to the lives of the pets and people we serve. We’re endlessly proud of you and can’t wait to see where this journey takes you.

💌 Please join us in sending Angel lots of love and good luck in the comments below!

With just under 2 weeks to go.... what are your plans for the 4th of July holiday weekend?

Don't forget to include a plan for your pets too! This holiday results in the most lost and injured pets in the country as pets flee due to loud noises from fireworks and celebrations.

Make sure that if your pet needs medications to help keep calm, that you call your vet's office several days before the holiday. If you don't know if your pet needs medications or has never had any, schedule a consultation with one of our technicians to determine what works best for your and your pet.

Also make sure that your pet has identification (microchip, collars with tags, etc.) and that all information is accurate and up-to-date. If your pet isn't microchipped, let us help! This is a quick, easy, and relatively painless outpatient procedure that increases the rate of pet return to 50%.
