FIREWORKS & YOUR PETS - With the 4th of July just right around the corner, It is extremely important to emphasize these tips, listed below, for dealing with your pets during periods of fireworks over this holiday. More pets go missing during the 4th of July than any other time of the year. Please make sure your furry friends have ID tags clearly visible and are microchipped. This identification process works!!! HAVE A SAFE 4TH OF JULY AND REMEMBER THEM!!!

Hey there Salty Dog Family!!

I’d like to just clear the air on the subject of dog grooming. We as dog groomers try.. to the best of our ability to understand what you, the owner is looking to achieve with your dogs grooming. Weather it is skin care, haircut or anything in between. Please note that we, like every other groomer use a clipper first to the length you suggest and follow up with scissors to make the cut look neater. We do not hand scissor dogs unless it is a long coated dog, for example: Golden retrievers, full coated boarder collies, Newfoundland, or even long coated mixed breeds that you are looking to keep long and just need feathers trimmed.
If you do ask for a short cut, please specify the length upon drop off to the best of your ability so you and your pet can leave happy and carefree. (Note: saying “as short as possible” will end in your dog coming out “as short as possible”) We will be just as diligent to understand what you as the owner are trying to portray to us. If there is a misunderstanding know that this is not because we ignored what you asked for, but because the details were not explained properly. We want nothing but the best for not only our clients but their owners as well. Have a blessed day and can’t wait to see you! ♥️ 🐾

This collar will sync to your cell phone so you always know where your dog is. We do still encaurage you microchip your pets. We do not supply them at our salon but it is definitely a must buy. If you’d like any links or info please contact us!

Price adjustment announcement!

All clients who have been Salty Dog Family before 2022. We are doing a price adjustment of 10% on all Full grooming and Bath services. Because of our in shop & supply expenses going up we have had to adjust our prices accordingly. We work very hard to keep you and your furbabies happy and healthy! Thank you for your understanding and continual loyalty!!

Extremely busy and continuously growing salon Looking for a Dog Bather/Receptionist PT/FT, to join our growing family. Must be comfortable handling dogs and talking to clients. Tuesday-Saturday (Saturdays are a must).

❤️Tasks include:❤️
~Bathing, Drying🐾Expressing glands🐾brushing teeth🐾Trimming and filing nails🐾plucking and cleaning ears🐾answering phones🐾checking in and checking out clients🐾Taking payments🐾scheduling appointments🐾helping keep the salon clean🐾

$10-$13/hr depending on experience and willingness to work. + tips.
Nail trims are 100% + tip (if able.)
Lots of Room for growth.

We are a cage free facility but do have areas to keep dogs separate if needed. So be prepared to be on p**p patrol. 🐕💩
