It is not looking good, people. Dr. Miller is unable to get out of her driveway as there are a few car accidents blocking the road directly in front of her home. The black ice has closed many of the streets in both downtown Conyers and Covington. We will not be opening today as conditions are not safe. We hope to be able to return to work tomorrow at regular hours but will update FB and answering service as the weather develops. Stay home and stay warm. ❤️

Civil rights icon Ruby Bridges, who courageously integrated an all-white elementary school in 1960, will share her inspiring story at Berry College on Jan. 20. Despite facing intense racism and challenges, Bridges’ resilience never wavered—she didn’t miss a single day of school.

Her talk, part of the Conson Wilson Lecture Series, will take place at 10 a.m. in the College Chapel. Sponsored by GHD Foundation, Berry’s corporate diversity partner, the event is free and open to the public.
