Winter at the farm is all about getting ready for the next cold snap. Fresh straw in the houses and fresh hay in the feeders.

A few of the elderly critters also got their winter jackets put on. No photos of that as it involves all hands and an extra human to keep Loki the yak busy. He always wants to be a part of anything going on in the fence and he is the opposite of helpful in all situations. His brother, Luca, is never a problem. It’s obviously not a yak thing, it’s just a Loki thing. He keeps things interesting.

Friday’s call for work

Hollering “Time for work” gets the whole herd running. Loki the yak is almost always in the lead. The donkeys take their time and didn’t even make the video. They did make it to work on time. They are all set for a full work day of looking cute, plus a concert tonight at the farm!
