We have our art of doing nothing class open for enrollment!

●The Art of Doing Nothing: Can your pup settle and relax while you have lunch with a friend? What about calming down when you're out and run into someone you know that you'd like to catch up with? Can they be calm out in town while you have a coffee or run into a pet store with them?

Happy Graduation day!! Brandi’s Foundations 1 and Intermediate classes graduated today.
Winnie and Moose rocked Foundations 1. They learned the basics such as sit, down, leave it, look, wait and loose leash walking. Winnie worked on learning how to co exist with a big dog in her space and how to tackle scary new situations. Moose would prefer we just give him belly rubs and love and he’ll do what we ask of him haha.
Intermediate had Gracie and Luna going out and about to dog friendly public places. Their confidence grew with every new interaction. Luna worked through her fears of different textured floors, scary poles and more! Gracie worked through some of her fears of different doors and holding her down while people watching.
Both classes did amazing! Our next set is now enrolling and starts December 1st. Message us or drop a comment for more information on how to build a good foundation and strengthen your bond with your dog!

Foundations 1 will go over the basics and work on skills such as leave it, sit, down, loose leash walking, wait and more!
Really want to test your skills? Intermediate will push your dog to do better by challenging their obedience skills in the real world - we will meet at dog friendly public places each week to work in new environments. We have room in both classes, sign up today!!

We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th! Our game plan today is to tire all of the pups in our care out before dark so they're already tucked in with our sound machines on, lights on multicolor and lavendar flowing through the diffuser. I will have licki mats given just before their last potty break. If you have a pup you're worried about, you can utilize a make shift happy hoodie. As seen in picture number 2, happy hoodies go around their head and cover their ears to aide in anxiety relief from sounds. You can cut part of a tube sock and use it that way. We practice this behavior ALL. THE. TIME. Ypu have to repeat and reinforce behaviors. You can't teach your dog the thing and expect it to stick without practice. It is 5:50am and I'm putting on makeup for work, so we are working on our down stay. I want dogs who are comfortable doing nothing while I'm doing something or also nothing. This can and should be practiced anywhere and everywhere you take your dogs!

Did you know? Our Foundations classes cover the basic obedience that helps you live your best life with your dog!
By laying the “foundation” with them, you set the bar for your relationship with your pup moving forward. We focus on helping you establish a good bond with your dog and helping them learn in a fun and positive environment.

Our next Foundations 1 class starts this Sunday, June 30th at 11:00. This class will meet every Sunday for a total of 5 sessions. Class will take place at the Thunderhawk academy on 111. If you’re interested in signing up message our page today!

Foundations 1 is like puppy kindergarten. If you have a new family member, now is the perfect time to sign them up. Your pup will learn the basics such as sit, down, look, loose leash walking and wait. We will also work on some socialization and helping give them a solid foundation for navigating the world!

Did you know we offer "Day out" style training?
This training is designed with the busy in mind. Your pups gets to spend the day one on one with a trainer playing games, working on personalized training and spending time out on the town working on in public behaviors. You get to pick up a tired pup who learned so much! Your trainer will send photos and update you about the training your pup received. Call/text or message us to get started!
