Looking for a forever home for a special furry friend! Meet Luna, a sweet soul who has blossomed under our care over the past year. Despite her initial timidity, she's made a complete turnaround and is now warming up to people more and more each day. 🤗

Unfortunately, she can't be showcased in store windows due to her shyness around other cats – she may have been bullied by other cats before. But don't let that deter you! Luna is waiting for the right person to patiently earn her trust and provide her with the safe, loving home she deserves. Shy cats, like Luna often just need a little extra patience and understanding to truly shine. Once they feel safe and loved, they can be the most loyal and affectionate companions you'll ever have.

So, next time you're considering adding a furry friend to your family, don't discount the shy ones – they may just steal your heart in the most unexpected ways.

Wyatt lives with his mommy, Kellie, who works at Peggy’s Pet Grooming (they are wonderful to us)!

Kellie adopted Wyatt at 7 months old and just a couple months later he became very ill. On New Year's Eve Eve 2022 Wyatt was diagnosed with FIP at only 9 months old. Currently there is no FDA approved treatment for FIP and Wyatt was given only a few weeks to live. Luckily the vet urged Kellie to seek out more research and learn all she could about FIP so she would know what to expect in the coming weeks.

This of course led her to a group that could help. Wyatt started treatment for FIP that would consist of taking a antiviral for 84 days (injections for 40 and switched to pills for 44) and then 84 days of observation. He got the “cured” status 🎉 after 6 months of treatment and by the grace of God, their amazing vet and his team and some amazing friends that stepped up to help with daily injections, he is here today. Wyatt wasn't suppose to make it to 1 year old and now this big fella will be turning 2.

Wyatt is a very independent boy and can be with his brother and sister or off by himself. He loves car rides and visiting his friends at some of our favorite local stores. After all he had gone through he still is a good boy at the vet and likes to stop in frequently to visit his favorite doctor and his bestie techs and office friends. He can be cautious meeting new people but this cat has never met a stranger. He is so loving with his kitty brother and sisters, they all look to him to set the pace for the day. “He is always waiting for me at the door when I get home from work in the days he doesn't go with me” Kellie says.

Wyatt’s nicknames include Baby Lion and Hammie and, “I ask him everyday why he is so handsome. I can't imagine life without him 🧡🐾🙏🦁” Kellie says.

They are SO CLOSE to their goal to help the 25 new kitties that came into rescue. If you can’t donate please share so we can reach more folks to reach that goal for the felines!!
