Does your puppy need shots. Visit your local vet or local Tractor Trailer. Some locations have vets there every weekend. It's so important for your pet to receive all their shots for optimal health.

Olde English Bulldogges are a blend of the following breeds:

1/2 English Bulldog

1/6th Bullmastiff

1/6th American Pit Bull Terrier

1/6th American Bulldog

Why Do Olde English Bulldogges Make Great Pets?

Olde English Bulldogges have many great attributes. Compared to other bulldog breeds, they have less of the health issues associated with standard brachycephalic breeds (characterized by a shortened muzzle) and are known for their excellent temper:

Good Temperament: They are trustworthy, loyal, protective, and loving.

Friendly: They do well with other animals and small kids (when socialized and trained early).

Athletic: They are athletic, hardy, and less sensitive to hot and cold climates compared to other brachycephalics.

Hypoallergenic: Their coat type and coat dander do not trigger allergies in most sensitive individuals.

Trainable: They are eager to please and do well when engaged in training activities.

Even when your dogs give you the look don't give in. This cute look is begging and it's usually for your plate of food. BETTERBULLY.com shares some thought.

Keep Your Bulldog Puppy Away

Danger Food #1 | Table Scraps

Table scraps are high in calories, contain too much sodium for dogs and lack the vitamins and minerals your puppy needs to thrive. Scraps can also throw your bulldog’s sensitive digestive system off and cause diarrhea, stomach pain and other gastrointestinal problems. Not to mention, feeding from the table creates begging behaviors and may make training your new puppy much more difficult.

I second that. It could become a messy situation that you don't want. It can cost you a bit of $$ to correct too.

Many of you are likely enjoying these long summer days outside with your pets. Although this can be a fun time of the year for your furry friends, it’s also important to remember that higher temperatures mean higher risks for pets. To keep your pets safe, follow these precautions from experts at the ASPCA:
1. Pets can get dehydrated quickly, so give them plenty of fresh, clean water when it’s hot or humid outdoors.

2. Know the symptoms of overheating in pets, which include excessive panting or difficulty breathing, increased heart and respiratory rate, drooling, mild weakness, stupor or even collapse.

3. Never leave your animals alone in a parked vehicle.

4. Do not leave pets unsupervised around a pool—not all dogs are good swimmers. Introduce your pets to water gradually and make sure they wear flotation devices when on boats.

5. Open unscreened windows pose a real danger to pets, who often fall out of them. Keep all unscreened windows or doors in your home closed, and make sure adjustable screens are tightly secured.

6. Feel free to trim longer hair on your dog, but never shave your dog. The layers of dogs’ coats protect them from overheating and sunburn. Brushing cats more often than usual can prevent problems caused by excessive heat.

7. When the temperature is very high, don’t let your dog linger on hot asphalt. Being so close to the ground, your pet’s body can heat up quickly, and sensitive paw pads can burn. Keep walks during these times to a minimum.

8. Remember that food and drink commonly found at barbeques can be poisonous to pets.

Hope your pets are having a furry good summer!

Blockhead-Ole English Bulldogge

“The Olde English Bulldogge originated in England between 1600 and 1700. These were the early ancestors of

Many of the Bull breeds that exist today including the English Bulldog and the American Bulldog. They were bred to participate in blood sports like bull baiting. This so-called game became quite popular in England throughout the middle of the 18th Century. Bull baiting primarily consisted of staking out a bull and allowing several Bulldogges to attack it. A dog of great courage and agility was needed for bull baiting. This dog was of medium size; larger dogs were considered to be the result of mastiff crosses.Around 1835, laws were passed in England prohibiting bull baiting, and the Olde English Bulldogges primary purpose of existence vanished. Within a decade the numbers of bulldogs declined drastically almost to extinction. Dog show fanciers eventually decided to reconstruct the breed but wanted to tone down the aggressive temperament of the original Olde English Bulldogge.

They crossed the remnants of the existing stock with other breeds and over the years that followed they developed the modern English Bulldog. Unfortunately, though, this current dog is wrought with all kinds of genetic health problems. The modern Olde English Bulldogge is a reconstruction of the original Olde Bulldogge of the 17th and 18th century. Various genetic crosses have been used in carefully and thoughtfully planned breeding programs to obtain this goal. The foundation of most of today's Olde English Bulldogges can be traced to English Bulldog,
