Foster Equine Boarding & Rescue is a small veteran owned 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization. We are currently operating out of Coolville, Ohio. We are committed to saving horses from abuse, neglect, and slaughter. Our mission is RESCUE, LOVE, REHABILITATE, and REHOME. In addition to our Rescue we also offer lessons for all levels of riding. Do not forget!! We ARE still a rescue! We do our shows and stuff for funsies because truly we just love horses and the community! BUT we do it all for the love of the horses. We still have a couple of great horses that are available for adoption!

We had a REALLY AWESOME thing happen at the October show! Two of our regular riders are also civil war reenactors and they put on a little show for us! Thanks Jess Quinlan-Park and Jarrod Heiss! I’ve never gotten to see this in person!

Now that I am home and clean and comfy (did anyone besides me have arena dust in their EARS?? Just me??) I gotta take a minute to say today was awesome!!

It was soooo great to see all of you, familiar faces AND new ones! It’s been too long we need to hang out more 😂! You guys are seriously the reason we do this. The camaraderie and cheering and just plain HAPPINESS makes it all worthwhile!

It truly takes a village to make these shows work. A village and a lot of caffeine!! Huge shout out to F & S Coffeehouse for coming up and providing some AMAZING food and beverages for the show!!! Don’t forget, the coffeeshop is open during the week at its Ireland Rd location! You can get those drinks and that food EVERY SINGLE DAY! (Shameless plug, I know, but dang those were tasty!)

I gotta give a HUGE shoutout to a bunch of people and if I forget to type you I’m super sorry it’s been a long day! Corey Orr, Joey Obrien, Tony Stineburg, Alex Foster, Ben Foster, Angela Shamblin, David Shamblin, Val Betkoski, Mel Holbert, Raymond Holbert, Jessica Norris, Katie Williams-Foster, Cherie Rhoad, Nick McCloud, Cooper Orr, and everyone else that got up and helped, yelled out encouragement, or just made us smile! You guys are all rock stars and we couldn’t have done it without you!!

And we can’t forget Michael and the great staff at Stonegate Farm! What a fabulous place to be able to have some fun!!! Thank you all sooo much for your hard work and for letting us use your facility!

Next show is NOVEMBER 22 same bat time, same bat channel. Can’t wait to see you there!

Grab your barn besties and come spend the day with us—great vibes, friendly competition, and plenty of ring-side cheering. Ribbons, memories, and lots of smiles incoming!

Key Times
• Registration: 8:00 AM
• Show Start: 9:30 AM
• Morning: Pleasure classes run first
• Contesting classes: no earlier than 1:00 PM

**BRING YOUR HALLOWEEN COSTUME FOR A COSTUME CLASS BETWEEN PLEASURE AND CONTESTING!

Parking & Arrival (important!)
• No parking in the grassy area to the left of the building — the ground there is soft and trailers have gotten stuck in the past.
• We have lots of rigs—park tight and straight (no big gaps).
• Keep drive lanes clear for wide turns/emergency access.
• Please review the Parking Overview (pinned) and follow any signs/attendants.

This will be the bill we use for all of our fun shows, but in between pleasure and contesting we will add something fun!

Our October 11th show will be our Halloween show so we will do a costume contest!

Jeaney Cox will be our judge for the first show!

I will be posting the sign up sheet for anyone who would like to print it out and preregister!

Please let me know no later than the Tuesday before shows if you need a stall so we can let Stonegate know!

Our little therapy pony needed some therapy yesterday!

After Lily left, Pixie was really upset. She wandered the farm looking for her 😭.

She finally just laid down and Ben, Greg, and Kiki sat with her for a while to make her feel less alone.
