📣📣📣We are in need rescue followers!!!

As everyone with horses knows, hay is at an all time high! We are low on hay and also have the veterinarian coming in on Saturday to vet the four surrendered minis!

To that end, we are doing a fundraiser for hay and vet bills! If all of our followers donated even one dollar it would be a HUGE help for us!

STUDLY!!!

This lovely little man was surrendered to the rescue because his owners were moving and unfortunately couldn’t take him with her 😒.

He is completely like his name and is so darned cute and full of himself!

He went to his forever home and is being constantly loved on and enjoyed!

✨ADOPTION UPDATE!!

Jinx has been surrendered twice to Foster Equine. He was one of the original rescues when we started doing it. He’s an older gelding, broke to ride, and very sweet natured!

One of our volunteers was looking to get into horse ownership. She fell in love with Jinx and has decided to adopt him!

So our Jinxy has a forever home! With us and his new owner Cherie! Cherie is boarding Jinx at the Foster Equine farm where she already volunteers her time! It is a winning situation for all of us!

HAPPY ADOPTION!!!!

Butterfly was surrendered to the rescue along with another horse named Jinx a few months ago. Their owner found themselves in a situation where they were unable to care for them any longer.

Butterfly is a beautiful paint mare, but hasn’t had much in the way of work. She needed to find her person. Someone willing and able to put the work in to earn her trust and get past the fear response.

We are so happy to announce that this beautiful girl has been adopted by her forever family! As you can see from the pictures, Butterfly has her very own person to bond with and is making strides with the help of Foster Equine’s trainer toward getting her more trusting and getting her under saddle!

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!!!!

We received a call about these four cuties. Their owners surrendered them to the rescue as they are unable to care for them any longer.

They are loving babies, a bit full of themselves (as ponies usually are) and will be up for adoption once we get them vetted and their farrier work done.

There are two boys and two girls, mom and dad and their two kiddos. They are not broke to ride, but are definitely love bugs!

Foster Equine sends a big thank you to the owners for entrusting us with their babies. We all know how difficult the decision to surrender is!

🐴🐴🐴ADOPTION UPDATE!!!!

In June of 2023 Foster Equine adopted out two ponies named Goldie and Cinnamon. The previous owner loved and cared for them however felt they would do well at a farm with lots of kids to love on them. They were graciously given to us to use in our equine programs.

Goldie and Cinnamon are sweet friendly little girls who had been together their entire lives. Due to change in location we felt it best to adopt them to their forever home.

They were broke to ride, but were a little bit demanding on their treats 😅😅😅

We were able to find them another wonderful home TOGETHER where they are loved, pampered, and given lots of their favorite treats!!

Although not rescues, we feel this is definitely a successful adoption and they will continue to have another home where they a r loved and cared for as they always have been.

We LOVE being able to share success stories!!!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here – the Final Show of the Winter Series is happening on January 25th at Stonegate Equestrian Facility! This show is DOUBLE POINTS, so it’s your last and best chance to climb the leaderboard and secure your spot for the trophies! 🏆✨

🚨🏇 Important Announcement: Show #5 Canceled 🏇🚨

Due to the weather forecast, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Show #5 of the Winter Series at Stonegate Equestrian Facility. 🌧️☔ Safety always comes first for our riders and their horses.

But don’t worry – we’re making it up to you! Our next show will be a Double Points Show to ensure everyone has a fair chance to climb the leaderboard and chase those trophies! 🏆✨ Stay tuned for details on this exciting update.

Open Arena Option:
For those who’d still like to ride, we’re considering offering an Open Arena tomorrow at Stonegate. If you’re interested, please let us know in the comments or message us directly. We’ll need enough interest to make this happen. 🐴

So. It’s been a long time since we have posted an update on this page!

As I sit here and think about this weekend and the two shows we had it humbles me. The family and friends that surround Foster Equine and help things come together for us is just amazing!

I want to thank each and every one of our Saddle Club members AND our friends for stepping in, embracing us even when we get things wrong, helping us when you’re able, and sticking with us as we adapt, grow, and change!

We have met some truly wonderful human beings (and equine) along this journey and we are all absolutely blessed to call you our friends!!

Here’s a little snapshot of what has gone on in the Foster Equine world in the past few months! You see, we relocated! Yes, again but this time is for permanent! The new farm is right down the road from our old one, was once used as a horse farm, and gives us some room to grow!

Only problem? It wasn’t fenced anymore 😬… and the barn was far away from the house and not usable for some of our critters 😬. We finally have fence up and the barn is getting there! Here are some entertaining pics from the past couple months!
