Our Story
Training- Meg does all the training. She does everything from basic obedience, including sit stay, down, heal, and other basic manners, to conditioning for the stamina hunting dogs need in the field when opener arrives. She also works on some behavioral issues that dogs can develop.
Boarding- This has become a family business. After an evaluation of the dog’s personality and based upon the responsibility level of our kids, they are helping care for the dogs that come stay with us (again, under close supervision). The kids have started to help walk, feed, water, and play with the dogs. They are walked a minimum of 3 times a day but 99% of the time, they get to stretch their legs and relieve themselves about 6 times a day. We have a heated garage with box kennels of all sizes. There are future plans to build a building, more accommodating and spacious. Until then, we care for them and love them as best as we can until you come back.
