This was Mr. Peepers. Today he would be 25. He started off as a scared little guy who grew into the best cat ever. It took a bit but he learned to trust us. He would sit with us outside and allow us to be part of his world. One day he was just laying there and we didn't know what happened. It turned out he had been bitten by something and had to go to the vet. We brought him in and after that he never wanted to go out again. He would sit in his bed and go to the den for his food and litter. He would watch Eagles football with us too. He was the king. And he is missed every day. We know he is happy and healthy over that famous Bridge but damn we wish he was still here

1 month. That is how long I have been in the hospital. I came home on Friday. I have been dx'd with Tcell Lymphoma and it is the rarest one. They know very little about this type. Of course I am confident having beat cancer 25 yrs ago I will kill this guy too. I am weak but am eating and walking and able to get rest as needed. I have 4 more chemo treatments every 2 weeks that take it out of me. One of the side effects is that I can't drink or touch anything cold. If I drink something it tastes like it turns to ice chips in my mouth and my hands don't want to work. So Mike heats the pad up and I wrap my hands it it and they get better.
Will be calling doc tomorrow to ask for the steroid to help fight this.
My cats were so happy to see me. Moochie has been on my lap since I got home and Gibbs follows me all over the upstairs.
I want to thank everyone for all the good wishes and prayers sent to me. It means so much.
So right now, I am asking Jesus to take the wheel and help me fight this SOB that decided to take up a home in my small intestine. 2 treatments down. And I KNOW with all of you behind me too I will be getting better every day.
Love you all
Sue

Update on Juneau:
Juneau is still missing, sort of. We’ve had several sighting and have seen her run from all involved.
Now, with the help of Homeward Bound Lost Dog Search we’d like to change the strategy. Let’s stop stalking her, chasing her and posting her whereabouts on line. We’d like her to get comfortable and we’ll put out food for her and basically let her come to us.
You may still text or call Bruce at 610-392-5670 with info, but let’s give Homeward Bound time to do their thing.
Having said that I want to add that the Harnessed to Hope and I are extremely grateful for the huge amount of support we’ve received to bring Juneau home. People everywhere have been outstanding, and we thank you!

🌹🌹🌹All the little cat spirits were crossing the rainbow bridge when one of them looked back and saw some cats' souls laying on the other side of the bridge, not moving.

“Who are they?” he asked the cat next to him.

“Oh, don’t you know they are the souls who had no owner in life and knew no love like we did."

“So what are they laying there for?” he asked “Why don’t they cross over like us?”

“They can’t.” replied his new friend “Only pets with owners can cross."

Just then all the souls on the other side of the bridge sat up and looked down the road.

"What’s happening?" asked the little cat. “Watch!” replied his friend.

Whereupon a woman was seen walking towards the bridge. She looked to her left and then to her right then opened her arms wide and all the patiently waiting souls got up and went to her.

She knelt and touched each and every spirit in turn.

They then all proceeded to cross the bridge together.

“Who is that?” he asked his friend.

“That is someone special.” replied his friend “She is a rescuer." 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

I got a text last night from a good friend letting me know that her friends dog died of bloat from eating and drinking out of a raised bowl. I was stunned to hear that as I always heard they were the best feeders. So I looked it up. Please share this with anyone you know who has a pet and uses a raised bowl......
Are elevated bowls bad for dogs?
The potential risks of using an elevated feeder for your dog Bloat is a deadly condition in which blockages, gas, and/or stress can combine to cause a dog's stomach to twist or flip over, shutting off both entry and exit points of the stomach

when we were at the Gress Mountain Ranch to present the check from the fund raiser they gave us an old horseshoe from one of their horses that had an odd hoof. So Mike brought it home and being the guy he is, he cleaned all the rust off of it and then sprayed it silver. Now it is hanging over our door with the open part at the top so the luck doesn't fall out
