Due to currently being at capacity, we CAN NOT take any walk-ins for boarding this weekend 6/7-6/9! RESERVATIONS ONLY!!
We are expecting to have every suite full so we can not make any exceptions, unfortunately.
Daycare is still open as normal and requires no reservation!

Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder that Happy Paws is closed to the public this Monday (Memorial Day 5/27) for both boarding and daycare! We will still have staff in and out of the building throughout the day to take care of our guests, but we can't allow any drop offs or pick ups. We appreciate you trusting us with your pups and hope everyone has a great weekend!!🐾❤️

Just wanted to remind everyone that Happy Paws will be closed to the public this Sunday for Easter! Staff will still be in and out of the building throughout the day to take care of the dogs but, there will be no drop offs or pick ups of any kind! Update: The daycare is open today!

Happy Paws customers! Please be advised that if the weather is bad tomorrow, our daycares will be closed! We will still be in the building for any boarding drop offs or pickups but daycare will be shut down!
Please note that this is only if the weather is bad. If it's not as bad as they are predicting, we will be open as normal!!🐾🐶

NEW UPDATE: Finally! The air conditioning is completely fixed and functioning!

Update on the air conditioning issue: The unit apparently has a bad compressor. We were told someone will be out Monday to fix it. 🤞🏻 So, with that being said, daycare will be open but it might still be a little warm. We do have fans and dehumidifiers running which definitely helps. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience but the health and happiness of the dogs must always come first above all else!

Happy Thursday! If you were planning to bring you dog for daycare tomorrow (Friday, July 7th) you might want to reconsider. We are having some issues with air conditioning in the lobby which is having a slight impact in our daycare rooms. We will still be open if you need to bring your dog in but it might be better to keep them at home with air conditioning. This problem does not affect the boarding area since the air conditioning runs on a separate unit!

Just a reminder to all our new customers - we are only open to the public on Sundays from 3pm-5pm. Staff are in the building but are busy taking care of our guests before we open! Please do not come before 3pm to pick up your pet. The doors will not be open and staff are not permitted to allow people in the building until 3pm. Thank you!

Friendly reminder that Happy Paws Pet Resort is closed to the public Monday May 29th for Memorial Day! This includes both daycare and boarding drop offs and pickups!
Any drop offs and pickups must be scheduled for either that Sunday or that Tuesday! 🐶🐾

UPDATE!! Bryce had been found and is safe at home with his family!!

I just received a text from one of our customers telling me that their dog got out of the house and is now lost. Please be on the lookout for a white Siberian Husky. His name is Bryce and he is a really sweet boy. He is lost in the North Hill area. Anyone with any information, please contact us at Happy Paws at 330-812-8421. Thank you! We really want to get this boy back home!!

Our daycare will be closed on Thursday and Friday, June 23 &24 due to delays with maintenance issues. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will be good to go on Monday, June27th for daycare. This does not affect boarding and we are still open our normal hours!

I was asked to share the story and am very honored to do so. I would like to take a moment to honor the life of Snookie, a Labrador Retriever, who was one of our spa regulars and a beloved 4-legged friend. I'm sad to say Snookie recently passed away in the loving arms of his family. Snookie would come with his sister, Lucy, every month for their spa day at Happy Paws where they were pampered, cleaned and loved then sent home to their loving family. Unfortunately, Lucy, did not get to spend as much time with us as Snookie did. She quietly passed away surrounded by her family several months earlier. She was such a sweet and loving soul and was friendly to everyone she met. Shortly after Lucy's passing, it was discovered on an exam that Snookie was not doing so well himself. He had multiple serious health issues which unfortunately could only be treated by palliative care including regular fluid draining which required multiple trips to The Ohio State Veterinary Hospital to provide relief. Snookie was a trooper until the very end and really seemed to enjoy being pampered by our staff when he was here and definitely by his family at home. He was a fantastic dog with a robust personality and will be greatly missed in the lives of all who knew him. All of us here know the loss of a beloved pet and are heartbroken at your loss. We all send love and hugs to the Owens Family at this difficult time. ❤️
