While Goose is a pretty good puppy, his leash manners are lacking a bit. Sooooo we’re going to work on that!
Yes it’s hot as hell in Texas and this area was the only spot that had shade🤦🏻‍♀️ We both tripped over that hose 😂 but it was better than being in the sun 😂

Let me tell you that working with Riot and then Goose, is completely different 😂 Riot WANTS to work, Goose is just in it for food😒 Just a typical house hippo 🦛

The place command… Riot thinks he’s in time out but I just need him to chill after a bite session lol He’d rather be playing with Goose😂 But soon he’ll learn that that spot his his chill time & he can still see me bc let’s face it, he knows no personal space, especially when moms around🙄

Let’s just say, Riot is impatient, ESPECIALLY when food is involved. But he’s learning! These little steps might not seem like much but I’m telling you, those little steps are HUGE. He will wait for his food, he’s learned that he will get paid for his hard work, and we make it fun! I promise, even if you only take 20 mins to get your pups brain moving, y’all will build a bond& be so much more happier. It’s like having a toddler. If you give them something constructive to do, their mind is busy working that they 1) don’t have time to get into things and 2) feel some sort of fulfillment and will want to do more!

Sibling playday!! Watching these to was a riot, literally😂. Getting to not only be a part of Riot growing into an awesome pup but to be able to see Voodoo grow is just as awesome! I’m so glad my friend got me hooked on the madness😂

Hard work does pay off! Yes it’s a constant process. Yes you have to put in time. No it’s not a one time training and you’re done. You and your pup will both learn. Things about you, things about him/her, and grow an amazing bond! The journey is worth it, trust me!

It’s that time again and it’s only going to get hotter! Keep an eye out on your pups when they are outside, make sure water is available and by all means, DONT leave them outside for long periods of time. Yes they have to potty, yes they need to run around, but the heat is no joke! I’ve seen heat cases and it’s not pretty and it’s SCARY.

My pups play outside in the morning and evening. During the day it’s only to go potty.

If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them!

When it comes to looking for a trainer for your puppy or dog, what do YOU look for? What encourages you to work with a trainer or even what prevents you from working with a trainer?

I know I posted in the near future I’ll be providing dog training services, so I want to hear from y’all what you look for. What works for YOU. What do you need from a trainer to better you and your fur baby?

Meet Riot. He’s a 4 month old Belgian Malinois. Yea yea I know, I’m crazy😂 But let me tell you he has been fun! Training him has been a challenge yet rewarding adventure. The amount of energy he has is insane 😂 But I have plans to train him to do bite work, agility & protection. One step at a time though. We have a long road ahead of us.

I also want to let all of my clients know…those who think their pups are crazy when it comes to trimming their nails…This guy…. Nail trims are his kryptonite😂

Hey guys!

I know I’ve been quiet but I’ve been working on something and really trying to figure out the planning of it all.

So I’m going to spill the beans and tell y’all that in the near future I will be offering training!!!! As of right now I plan to offer basic obedience. Sit, stay, come, place, place for a period of time, etc.

My question for y’all, is who would be or know someone who would be interested?

I’ve also thought about posting some videos of the pups I am currently training

A friend of mine put it together♥️ I had rescued a cleft lip pup and she rescued a cleft lip/palate pup. Unfortunately due to different situations, they didn’t make it. Those two pups are the reason this rescue exists.

This rescue helps cleft palate and/or lip puppies get a chance at life. No matter the outcome! Donations are welcome but all the likes, shares and follows help tremendously♥️

If at any point you have an appt and you don’t receive a message the day of, message me! I Just had a client message me bc my message never sent like I thought it did the day of our appt. But when I messaged her back it said it didn’t send and then that message was completely gone, like I had never tried to send it. I obviously didn’t catch it the first time🤦🏻‍♀️

Reminder, I will ALWAYS send a message the day of! And now I’m made aware that I need to triple check that messages are actually sent. If for any reason you don’t receive a message, fb messed up. Don’t be afraid to send a message!!
