This was definitely a huge effort amongst so many people in the rescue community and at the Broward county shelter, thank you to all that have played a part in helping us save Biggs. His new family is anxiously awaiting his arrival! We did it!!
He is on his way to his new life!!

Meet our strong and lovely Tiger, a sweet dog rescued from Red Barn Rescue and brought to the shelter from where we pulled him. He has been with us since January 2023…..
Today, Tiger is in a house boarding environment, which is ok but far what we expect for him.
BNBR is dedicated to providing the best care for every dog under our care on their journey to their forever home. Unfortunately, for pups like Tiger (adult-big-strong but sweet and adorable) isn’t easy to find their forever home, but we made a promise, and we will keep it….to find the best forever home for him.

Tiger is He’s 6.5 yrs old.
70 lbs/No cats/good with dogs but can be selective/active/good with older kids due to his size/no renters/fence yard is a plus.

The first adoption of 2025!!

Ryan has not only been a previous adopter of ours but also a huge supporter of our rescue and a foster extraordinaire!!

He has fostered countless pups for us. We knew there was gonna be that one pup he wouldn’t be able to part with eventually and here he is. Otis has hit the jackpot and loving his new life with his fur-siblings, Buh Buh and Storm.

Ryan, thank you once again for welcoming one of our pups into your home/life.

A rescue dog doesn’t want a lot for Christmas .
There is just one thing they need.
They don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree.
They just want a home of their own….more than you could ever know.
This Christmas not one, but two of our rescue dog’s wish came true….

Our hearts are filled with joy in announcing the adoption of Tyson and Sofia!!!!!

Forever grateful to Gabbi and W***y Armellini, and Mindi Aurrichio for not only been the best fosters families, but to became their forever parents.

Tiger is hoping he finally has a home for the holidays. He’s been with our rescue for almost 2 years!! We recently moved him to a new foster due to him and a new foster in the home not getting along. He is enjoying being the only dog in the home now. We have noticed a complete change in his personality and anxiety for the better. This just goes to show you environment is everything. Some dogs do better in quiet environments opposed to chaotic multi dog environments. Tiger is an amazing dog. He is around 6 yrs old and about 70 lbs of love. He is dog friendly and has a dominant personality. Another dominant dog would not be a good fit. He is NOT good with cats. Loves kids and is potty and crate trained. Walks well on leash. BNBR Update.

When a small nonprofit like us is “broke," it means they we exhausted our available funds and are unable to cover our basic expenses, such a food, medicines, vet visits etc. essentially, we can no longer fulfill our mission without taking action to raise money to provide for the dogs in our care.
We currently have one dog, Henny, in boarding which means $100 weekly
Storage rent $170 monthly (where we have all our donations (crates/toys/beds/banners/tents/etc.

We have only $87 in our bank account.

We are desperate asking for help, any amount will be a huge step forward.

Hi Nicole. It was a pleasure speaking with you today! Thank you for your help with promoting a new home for my son’s dog Rocco. Rocco just turned one year old in October and he is up to date with shots. He is a sweet dog that needs a loving home. As I told you on the phone, he nipped a neighbor’s kid when he was being walked on a leash and a child put his face near Rocco’s face. We need to rehome him since my son has four children under the age of eight years old. Below is a picture of Rocco. Thank you so much for your help!!!!
