Hey there clients and friends,
as of September 1 there will be some rate increases for my animal care services as follows.
Cats $35 per day
Dogs $55 per day +5 for each extra dog/cat
Puppies or medical care $100/24hrs max
Farm care $25 per hour or $75/100 per day depending on requirements.
Horses $25 per horse/day includes feeding and stall cleaning/pickup
Dog walks or stop in visits $25

If we have a set price already for already booked/deposit paid sittings or care that will remain until the next booking.
Between fuel prices and trying to stay competitive in pricing, I am expending far more money and time on multiple jobs, and my health and vehicle are at risk of breaking down.

UNFORTUNATELY, IM NOT FEELING MUCH OF IT. Lately, and often, I have been trying very hard to set some boundaries for my work, because as it stands I have very little of my own time or life to live around it. Yes, I did choose to do work that is 24/7, however, that doesn't mean I do not need and require time off!
Please do NOT text or call me after 7pm or before 9am unless it's an emergency. I do not shut off my phone, have tried implementing a busy message and yet still it's a problem.

I am just the kind of person that doesn't shut off easily, and constant intrusion during rest hours or even when I'm working early in the am is extremely irritating. If I say I am booked/busy etc I mean it.

I am also very grateful for being so busy and thankful to the moon for the people who are respectful and kind when using my services. If I didn't have them in my life, I would probably have to quit and do something else, because this life can be very hard, lonely and stressful.

This is not a rant, but a plea. Be kind and respectful whoever you ask to come and help you take care of your life home kids animals etc. Give them a little ♥️ instead of making them anxious or feeling bad because we cannot be everything to everyone and still maintain any sense of self preservation.

A self employed woman has to work hard enough already. 💙🙏🐾
