20 years ago this is how we kept track of our Heartworm positive cases.
2003: 7 Cases
2022: 3 Cases
That is 1/2 of the cases, and keep in mind we test far more patients than ever for Heartworm!
This little piece of paper means so much to us! First and for most : Heartworm Prevention (heartgard/simparico trio) is crucial and our clients are doing an awesome job protecting their canine family members!
And second we are thankful (most days) for digital record keeping!
If you have any questions about Heartworm and/or prevention please call the clinic and we would be happy to discuss this deadly disease.
