Sharing a few updated photos, of my hold back puppy, from the May 26th 2024-Full Bloom litter.
This is Ranger-
AKC "LuJac's That's A Ford F'ing Ranger" -formally known as Aster.
Boy has he grown, since the last photos I posted of him, as a 9 week puppy. Currently at 18 weeks; he's slap dab, in his gangly teen faze. 31 pounds. All legs, HUGE feet, and that wonderful long poodle schnozzle-you just have to "BOOP"
He is soo super smart; with the most laid-back, sweetest temperament, ever.

Just to let everyone know, I will be leaving the GoodDog platform.
I joined them, five years ago, when they were new. Back then, ALL breeders had to send in proof of all health testing. Proof, of dogs living/play areas. Letter of reference, from your Vet. So, on and so on. It was tough, to be approved. Through the years passed, GoodDog keeps implementing new rules, all the time. With each new rule/regulation, I tried to stay with them, and give them the benefit of a doubt.
They also starting allowing breeders to join, without running them through the validation process. Anyone could join.
After they announced the newest change, it's time for me to finally cut ties.
GoodDog once promised, to never bring fees onto the breeder, to utilize the platform. That all fees, would be covered by the buyer.
Now, starting September 10th, not only does GoodDog take out 3.5% sale fees, from EACH AND EVERY buyer, that doesn't link their bank account--they have now announced a 6.5% to be taken out, from the breeders side, for EVERY/EACH INDIVIDUAL puppy sale.
I understand they need to monetize their platform in some way...but, this is a broken promise, and a very high percentage, IMO. Maybe a monthly fee, or a per littler advertised fee...but, not for each puppy sold.
Especially with the price of puppies, being at the lowest, in many years, due to the economy and doodle/poodle flooded market.

I will be working on a personal website, in the near future. I'll post an update, when it's finished.

The Full Bloom litter, is 11 weeks of age, and finally ready to find their furevers.

This will be LuJac's Gold Dust Woman "Nicks" last litter. As you know, I only breed my girls 2-3 times, then retire. So, if you've been waiting for a Nicks puppy...last chance. Nicks, has produced Championed offspring, and Sire is Championed himself.

I do not ship my puppies, but I'm glad to meet part way, depending on distance,

Looking for an exceptional home, for this sweet three year old boy.
His owner, that I placed him with as a 8 week old puppy, has so sadly been diagnosed with alzheimer's disease. She's not able to do with Willie, as she used to. It's absolutely heartbreaking, as I personally love his owner. But, so sadly herself and her family, think it's best, to find Willie (Formally Cupid, from my Roman God's litter) a new wonderful home.
Willie is super friendly, to everyone!!
Gets along good, with other dogs...they would prefer to place him as the only dog, or maybe as a second dog, in the household, so he can be pampered and spoiled, as he's been accustomed to. He is good with older children.
He is three years of age. Neutered, and up to date on all shots/veterinary care.
He has had extensive training (his owner, was a VERY well-known trainer), and he already has TWO legs, towards his AKC CD!!
He is located in Union Connecticut...but, family might be willing to meet, if distance isn't too far. If he doesn't find a home locally, he will be returning back to me...we are just putting feelers out there, to see if there's a wonderful home, close by. Any home that's interested, must be approved by me. Please message me, if you'd like more information, on sweet Willie.

Lennox welcomed her litter, in the early morning hours today. There are nine gorgeous males. Yes, ALL males! 🚹
While I had another theme planned, before knowing it was going to be all males...
I'm going to change the theme, into our "Baseball" themed litter. ⚾
Here's a sneak peek, of the puppies. As always, it will be a few days, before I make full introductions with individual photos. Right now, it's time for momma to rest, and bond with her puppies. 😴

NEW PUPPY OWNER .......
On the way of puppies to their new homes, I wanted to address a common problem breeders face with new owners.
Realistic Expectations
You see the pictures and videos of the breeder and the puppies are all social. They are quiet in the enclosure. The breeder shows you videos of them completely relaxed, happy and playful. Everything looks wonderful and you take your puppy home.
Then the reality hits. On the first few nights, the puppy may cry in the crate, leaving you tired and restless. Happy, cuddly puppy refuses to greet the half-dozen overly-excited friends you invited to see your new puppy. Or the over excited, playful children you have at home. The puppy is refusing to walk on the leash. Many wonder how my perfect puppy turned into a nightmare.
So let’s talk about realistic expectations when a puppy comes home. At first, the puppy was at the breeder's house from birth. He had his mother and often litter siblings. They had their routine, were introduced to expectations and were comfortable in their surroundings.
Now they are suddenly brought to a completely new environment. Imagine being exposed to an unknown country, often in a different part of the world. They only know a few words of the native language. Other trees, animals, smells, temperatures and people. In the meantime, we change your routine, decide to party with people you don't know, and ask you to take on tasks you have no idea about. This is overwhelming, to say the least.
This is what every puppy goes through when they get to their new home. Stress comes in many forms. He doesn't eat, doesn't want to play and doesn't greet people. They're anxious when they have to go to the vet or when strangers attack them. Diarrhea, vomiting and depression can also occur.
So what can you do as a new owner to help your little one settle in?
- Most puppies take 3-4 weeks to adjust to their new homes. I repeat: THREE to FOUR WEEKS, sometimes even longer! Not just 1-2 days. I cannot stress enough how much time it takes for a dog or puppy to feel comfortable in their new home!
- Limit attendance within the first week. We understand you're excited to show off your new baby, but it will take time to adjust. Plan 1-2 weeks before inviting guests.
- Ask the guests to sit on the floor and let the puppies come to you. No squeaking and grabbing for the pup
- Establish a good routine
- confine puppy to a small area of house. Not only does this prevent it from being crowded, it also allows you to observe it.
- Don’t expect an 8-18 week old puppy to walk on a leash. Work at home instead with a leash he feels comfortable on. Let him pull on the leash and encourage him with treats to go with you.
- If your puppy refuses to leave, give him time. On my first trips to town with pups, a walk around a small block took 1 1/2 hours. We only move when they initiate the movement because they need time to take in the new environment.
- Understand that your puppy needs time to see you as family. It’s unrealistic to expect instant attachment.
- train your puppy. This will not only help you build a bond, but also help the pup to orient and orientate towards you.
-Children are also a big stress factor for small, fragile puppies. Please keep your pup in check at all times when children are around.
- And finally, you should be patient. Don't explain, "something is wrong with this dog". Nothing happens overnight. Excursions should be planned at puppy pace. Even if you're imagining a nice walk around the lake, it's possible that your pup can only run a short distance that day.
Most outings take a very long time for me, as I often just stand there while the puppy carefully explores the new environment. Patience is the A and O!
Remember this: If the puppy was wonderful at the breeder but is struggling now, as the owner you need to help the puppy adjust, which takes time, patience and training. Have realistic expectations and give positive experiences to the pup. Every puppy is an individual. Don't compare your current puppy to past pets and don't judge their behavior based on how another dog did. Lastly, try to see things from the puppy's perspective and adjust situations accordingly.

Someone needs to snatched little Ray up. He is just the most low-key, mild-mannered little boy. Always following me, wherever I go. He just wants loving, and to lay in your lap.

You can see every puppy in this one, as it's when I just put them all out in the play area, before they scattered, all different directions. 🤣 It's hard to get good videos, as they all come running over to me for loving, when I sit down. PS. I didn't realize my sweat pants showed, till I watched this back. It's paint, on my pants. Not 💩. At least today. 🤣🤣
