Bear is packing the “art of doing nothing”… which looks mildly unimpressive…. But is one of the most important things to practice with your dog. He is a fun and excitable young guy, but needs to learn use his “off” switch. Over repetition he reaches relaxation faster each time, and is a work in progress. Soon he will need to implement these skills with more going on around him that will make it more challenging… you’ve got this Bear!!

Flash the Basset wasn’t too impressed with his lesson on sharing the human, and sharing attention… AND he wasn’t allowed to butt in on Dino getting some food!!! but he made it through!

🧘‍♀️We are shooting for all dogs to be neutral, and polite around others, but like humans, as an only child myself, I understand the struggle little man!

🦕 Dino was just happy to be here 🤣 he’s a super sweet easy going little boy thus far!

Puppies are soooooo cute but can be hard to live with sometimes 😭

The best way we have found to not let your puppy grow into a troublesome dog?

📚 Start early!! Get some foundations started as babies so when they’re a “teenager” you are already communicating in a way they understand….

👂 Like human teens, they will test your boundaries and patience…. You may even wonder if they’ve gone deaf!!🤣

🙏 but there is hope, and on the other side of the teenage onry time, you can have a dog for the next 10+ years who knows exactly how to live with you and your lifestyle, because you’ve been there teaching them how to be successful from the very beginning 🥹
