Long overdue post! (We took some time to travel back to Boston for the holidays, and then the stomach bug hit our family—so our break from socials ended up being a bit longer than planned! 🙃)

🌟 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 🌟

We want to start 2025 by thanking every single one of you for supporting our small business in 2024. To our old friends in Massachusetts who’ve followed our journey down to North Carolina, and to our new friends here in NC who’ve welcomed us with open arms and incredible support—we see you, and we THANK YOU!

2024 was a year full of challenges and changes, but with change comes growth, and we’re so excited for what’s ahead in 2025!

We celebrated Charlie’s 7th Birthday yesterday!!! 🎉

He enjoyed cheesy eggs for breakfast followed by a walk around horn pond with his brother & ended the day with a Barkday cake made with love by his mama 🥰

Dear valued customers and furry friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the upcoming closure of Charlie’s Barkery store front at the end of this month. This decision was not made lightly, but after much consideration, we believe it is the right choice for our family.

When we first opened the doors of Charlie’s Barkery, it was just me, Charlie, and a dream to create a place where people could come and enjoy special moments with their beloved pets. Over the past two years, we have been fortunate to meet some truly incredible people who have become like family to us.

With time, our own family has grown, and we have come to the realization that we must prioritize their well-being. Alongside this transition, we are excited to share that we will be pivoting our business model to better serve you in new and innovative ways.

The current state of costs in our local area has also played a part in our decision, as we strive to ensure sustainability for the long term.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering love and support throughout this journey.

While we will miss seeing your smiling faces and wagging tails in our shop, we hope you will continue to support us by staying connected through our social media channels. We are committed to sharing updates, special offers, and glimpses into our continued journey with Charlie’s Barkery.
