Apparently, burned 80 acres!

Fire has been moving away from us not toward us.

Still no evacuation notices or warnings.

We tried this lovely food cart and love it!

Such great food and baked goods. It’s about 5 minutes from the barn right in the middle of the country. Please us help support local businesses.

It’s on the corner of Laurel and Campbell.

We are thinking of attending this show with one of our trainers to help. Anyone else want to go?

We call this “Feed Tretis.”

Trying to find space in our small feed room fridge for all our soaked/beet pulp containing PM feed so it doesn’t go bad in this ridiculous heat.

Last post of the night. All horses are doing fine. It’s finally quiet out here. Ponies are ready for bed time.

The horses in the small barn are real troopers. They are the ones who are experiencing the loudest bangs AND bright explosions.

07/05/2024

People are still blowing stuff out here, and it’s loud. Horses are doing remarkably well considering how loud it is.

These two are chilling to Queen.

Bennie isn’t interested in our weird human celebrations, he’s busy eating.

Red and Neighbor are handling all the loud fireworks just fine.
