October was paws-itively adorable here at Main Street! 🐾🎃 We were thrilled to welcome so many precious puppies and kittens to the hospital this month. 🐶💖🐱 From tiny purrs to little tail wags, these sweet fur babies stole our hearts and filled our days with endless cuteness. Welcome to the family, little ones! 🥰🍂✨

MEET NIKKI! Our November Canine of the Month 🐶

Nikki is so sweet we call her our cinnamon sugar cookie with whipped cream on top, which captures her coloring as well as her personality! Born on the 13th of December 2022, Nikki filled a large hole in our hearts left by the passing of our 15-year old cocker Melzy in September of that year. Fortunately for us, Nikki came from the same line as Melzy, and while their coloring is similar their personalities are different. Melzy did things on her time and her terms. Nikki is full of spirit and always up for a good time. She loves mile long walks every morning, stopping to sniff her many friends and get petted by her adoring fans. She loves to be outside and runs the yard in pursuit of critters. Nikki knows what she likes food wise and is quick to remind us when it’s snack time. She’s a dedicated assistant to her tutor mom, whether it’s on zoom or in-person sessions with the kids getting help with their reading skills. And she absolutely adores our kids and grandkids, especially for rousing games of soccer, plus she can never get enough of her dozens of monkey toys. Nikki is our fourth cocker spaniel, and while each was special, she is the perfect pet for us at this time in our lives. We are blessed to have this sweet, fun, funny little ball of fluff keeping us forever young!

MEET ROXY! Our November Feline of the Month! 😻

Roxy is 21 years’ old—roughly 102 in human years! She’s a New Orleans lady who survived hurricane Katrina. She rules the roost, bossing around her 3 little brothers (2 cats and bunny). She loves bathing in sun pools and napping under the raspberry bushes; and, like all Tauruses, she’s loyal and stubborn. Thanks to Solensia, she can still jump 5 feet from the cat condo to the bed! She enjoys short walks on the leash and never hisses and tells.

As you can see, she is delighted with every photo shoot!🥰
