Carolina has been an essential part of Main Street since 2023, working as a Veterinary Assistant while pursuing her dream of becoming a licensed Veterinarian in the United States. She originally earned her degree in Large Animal Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires in 2022, where she practiced as a Veterinarian before relocating here.

We are beyond proud to share that Carolina has officially passed her boards and is now Dr. Carolina Leto, a licensed U.S. Veterinarian! 👏🏻Completing this process in just 18 months when it typically takes 3-5 years, is an extraordinary achievement, and it’s a true testament to her unwavering determination, hard work, and expertise.

🎉🐾 We're so excited to announce that Captain, who is near and dear to our hearts here at Main Street, has officially become a facility therapy dog! After spending over a year with our very own Dr. Manzie, Captain took a detour to Florida for some "college" training with Dogs Inc. While she started as a guide dog, the trainers quickly recognized her incredible heart and reimagined her future as a facility therapy dog. Now, Captain is officially ready to share her love and comfort with others in her new role!
We couldn’t be prouder of this sweet girl and all the lives she’ll touch. 💙

Breaking News: The Leptospirosis Vaccine is NOW labeled a Core Canine Vaccine!

⁉️What is Leptospirosis?
Leptospirosis is a potentially life-threatening bacterial disease that can affect a dog's kidneys and liver. The disease is spread through the urine of infected animals, such as rodents and wildlife, and can be found in water, soil, and puddles.

🤔What is a Core Vaccine?
A core canine vaccine is a vaccine that's recommended for all dogs, regardless of lifestyle, unless there's a specific medical reason not to vaccinate. Core vaccines protect dogs from severe, life-threatening diseases that have global distribution. Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo Vaccines are all CORE Vaccines.

🐶Who Should Get the Vaccine?
While all dogs should now receive the Leptospirosis vaccine, it is especially important for dogs who enjoy swimming and hiking as well as those exposed to areas with standing water, wildlife, or rural environments, where the risk of infection is higher.
