MEET EMMA JO! Our September Canine of the Month!🥰
"Emma Jo is a rambunctious 3 year old mini goldendoodle! She is a sweet girl who loves her family, pup cups, playing chase at the dog park, making new doodle friends, jumping high up in the air from all 4s, going for walks when the weather is cooler, licking the peanut butter off a lick mat, and being told she is cute. She dislikes thunderstorms and loud rain, car rides, having to use her listening ears when she is excited, and seeing her mom pet other dogs and tell them they are cute."
MEET LOGAN! Our September Feline of the Month!🤩
"Our boy, Logan is September 2024’s cat of the month!…Yay!!! — Logan came to us unexpectedly in July 2009. His guardian angel is Steve, an uncle who heroically rescued him off a busy Georgia highway. The vet estimated the sick little kitten was 4/5 weeks old…he is now 15 years old! He was named after the family’s favorite restaurant, Logan’s Roadhouse. When he’s in trouble, he gets his full name…“Logan Hunter H*****”.
Logan has always been an indoor cat and has lived in 4 states: GA, TN, OH & NC. He loves a good screened-in-porch and is a fantastic traveler by car. He does extremely well in hotels and vacation rentals. He is always shy around strangers, but at home he rules his 7 yr old GoldenDoodle brother, Cody.
Logan has always been very talkative and “screams” when he can’t find you. He is not a fan of thunderstorms and will normally be found hiding in the pantry.
At 15, Logan’s zoomies have ceased, but he still has moments of play. He’s a HUGE couch potato and favors mom’s lap, especially after dinner. Logan is an overachiever in napping and consistently gets straight A’s.
This year has been physically challenging for Logan. Our healthy boy has started having health issues and we consider every day as a gift. — Thank you, Main Street Veterinary Hospital for such wonderful physical care, as well as, boarding. Thank you to Uncle Steve for having such a big heart. Your rescue
has been a HUGE blessing to our family…Logan will always be our “furry son”.
Logan says…”Always spay and neuter your animals and if you should have an unwanted litter, always property transfer them to a rescue. They equally deserve a chance of survival, as I have had.”
