🎄Holiday Announcement 🎄

Laurels Little Lions will be taking some much needed time off to spend with our families. We work hard year round and are taking this time to rest, recharge, and create memories with our loved ones.

We will return to answering messages and scheduling appointments on January 6th. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Wishing you all a joyful holiday season filled with love and warmth.

Thank you,

Announcement to Our Valued Clients and Community

At Laurels Little Lions, our top priority has always been the well-being and happiness of your pets. In the best interest of our business and the quality of care we strive to provide, we have made the difficult decision to part ways with one of our groomers.

We understand that changes like this can sometimes lead to rumors or mixed feelings, and we want to reassure you that this decision was made with careful consideration for everyone involved. Out of respect for privacy, we won’t be sharing details publicly, but please know that we are here to address any questions or concerns you may have.

If you would like to reach out, feel free to send us a private message. We’re committed to maintaining a positive environment for both our team and the pets we love so much, and we appreciate your continued trust and understanding.

Thank you for being part of our community,
Laurel Normand, Owner of Laurels Little Lions

📢 Important Notice on Kennel Cough 🐾 📢

There has been a significant rise this year at dog parks and since we are a grooming facility I want to make sure everyone is aware. If you have a sick dog please make sure to reschedule, we will always get you in asap but we also want to keep other dogs safe.

Kennel cough, caused primarily by the Bordetella bacteria, is a highly contagious respiratory infection that spreads quickly among dogs in close-contact settings, like kennels, doggy daycares, and yes, even the groomer. 🐶🤧

While we work hard to keep our space clean and safe, it’s essential for pet parents to be aware of the risks. Kennel cough is airborne, spreading through sneezing, coughing, and shared spaces, which makes it easy to pass from one dog to another.

How You Can Help:
✔️ Vaccinate your dog: The bordetella vaccine is an important step in protecting against kennel cough.
✔️ Stay Home When Sick: If your dog shows signs of coughing, sneezing, or nasal discharge, please wait until they’re fully recovered before bringing them in. This helps protect other pets.
✔️ Boost Their Immunity: Keep your dog healthy with a good diet, regular exercise, and check-ups with your vet.

If you have any questions about kennel cough or the steps we take to keep our grooming area safe, don’t hesitate to reach out! We’re here to keep every pet happy and healthy. 🐾💙
