Lafeber Small Mammals

Lafeber Small Mammals The food that encourages your pet's good taste and intelligence. Lafeber Company was built by a father-son team of veterinarians with a shared love of animals.

Hey!Berries treats offer great taste and good nutrition that also stimulates the mind of your rabbit, guinea pig, or other herbivore. Dr. Lafeber, Sr. developed the very first commercial bird food pellet in the back room of his veterinary clinic in the early 1970′s. Today our recipes are developed by his son, Dr. Ted Lafeber, III along with top veterinarians and nutritionists. Every diet is tested

by an independent laboratory to insure optimum pet health. Lafeber Company also consults leading experts in behavior so that our diets provide dietary enrichment and fun. Lafeber Company’s manufacturing facility has always been located on the Lafeber family farmland, and all of our products are mixed, formed and packaged under one roof with equipment specifically designed for small batches. Carefully watching food production process from start to finish gives us the opportunity to maintain our high standards. By submitting a photo, video, comment or post to our page or wall, you are authorizing Lafeber Company to use, publish or otherwise reproduce or modify your content with or without your name or your pet’s name. By submitting a photo or video to our page or wall, you acknowledge and agree that you own both the photo or video and any and all pets in the photo or that you have permission to use the photo or video from their owner.

“This is a big hit with four out of four rats including my little girl who would only touch lab blocks as a last resort. I liked the ingredients better too. It seemed to have less fillers than a lot of food. They should be getting a lot more enrichment out of it with the different pieces/textures. Another review mentioned the smell. It smells a little odd to me but not off just the peas and such with the berries and it's not a strong smell. More to do with human tastes and what flavor combinations we're likely to be used to. Unless their bag was different somehow. In any even I would like a larger bag. A lot of people, such as myself, have multiple rats. So I think that would be nice to see down.”
