Here they are!!!! The emergency rescue operation is currently underway. These canine animals have just been rescued from a puppy mill and are en route to freedom!! We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone for their support! If you would like to make a donation to help cover veterinary care and transportation, the dogs would be eternally grateful!!

04/26/2025

We have received an urgent request to rescue three dogs from two puppy mills in Ohio. Consequently, we are undertaking an expedited transport operation to retrieve three dogs requiring immediate removal. The dogs include a shepherd, an Australian shepherd, and an Australian shepherd/heeler mix. Following spaying and neutering, they will be available for adoption. If you would like to contribute to the transport and vetting expenses, we would greatly appreciate your support. As always, we extend our gratitude for your ongoing support, which is crucial to our operations.

Farmland Animal Park: A Disturbing Reality for Animals

Farmland Animal Park has revealed a darker side that should not be ignored. It is increasingly clear that this so-called “animall park” is far from the park it purports to be for the animals in its care. The reality is far more disturbing and raises serious questions about the ethics of such facilities.

One of the most appalling aspects of the park is the treatment of its animals. While visitors may be lured in with promises of animal interactions and educational experiences, the conditions under which the animals live are far from ideal.

Even more disturbing is the treatment of the park’s unaltered cat population. Farmland Animal Park has allowed these cats to roam freely around the property, a situation that leads to tragic consequences. These unsterilized cats frequently wander onto busy roads, where they are at risk of being hit by cars. Worse, the unchecked breeding results in more and more kittens, perpetuating a cycle of suffering that could easily be prevented.

Allowing this situation to continue is not just irresponsible; it's cruel. By permitting the unchecked breeding of animals and failing to control their population, the park is contributing to the overpopulation crisis. This is especially evident when you consider the toll it takes on local wildlife and the countless cats and kittens that suffer from illness, hunger, and neglect.

Animal welfare should always be a priority, but Farmland Animal Park is failing on every level. If you care about the well-being of animals, it's crucial to look beyond the marketing and consider what truly happens behind the scenes. This park’s negligence cannot be overlooked, and its practices must be brought to light.

We need to hold these establishments accountable and demand better treatment for the animals that are too often exploited for entertainment. The reality is simple: Farmland Animal Park is a place of cruelty, not care.

**UPDATE: In the process of being reunited. People, get your dogs fixed. Allowing them to be unaltered AND run loose is COMPLETELY irresponsible. Period!

He’s been captured!!! He’s a sheltie that was found on Davis Rd in south Corning. UNALTERED MALE bc of course only responsible people get their pets fixed. I don’t want him going to Jerry Aldrich who is SOMEHOW still our Dog Control officer (TOWN OF CORNING-WHAT ARE YOU THINKING)?!

Does anyone know where he could belong?!

I’m so sorry but I don’t have time to entertain the rest of your comments. 🤪 I’ll leave the ones that are there for people to have fun with. ENJOY! -Christie

It pains us to have to give you the update that Lilac and two of her siblings did not make it. They have been battling distemper since November and have succumbed to this nasty disease. Their little bodies tried so hard to fight it off but we didn’t have the funds to keep going given their grim prognosis. We can only do what we have the financial ability to do and thanks to your help, we were able to give them a fighting chance. Two of Lilac’s siblings did survive and they are available for adoption at Sondra's City Zoo. If you’re interested, please stop down to Sondra’s at 2024 Lake Rd in Elmira.

We have been doing this for a long time and it never gets easier. When we setup these fundraisers, we do it because we desperately need the funding to help stray, neglected, and abused animals. Every cent you donate goes straight to the animals. The next time you see a fundraiser, please understand that we can’t continue helping innocent animals without your financial support.

Thank you to all who give animals a better life!
