Due to the large number of boarders that will be staying with us for the Thanksgiving holiday, daycare will be closed Wednesday-Friday (Nov. 27-29) next week. Daycare will re-open Monday, December 2.

We knew it wouldn't take long so hopefully you were able to secure a spot for a Thanksgiving boarding stay! Currently, we are on a waiting list Nov. 27 through November 30 for both dog boarding and cat boarding. If you'd like to get on the waiting list, be sure to contact us as soon as possible.

UPDATE! Sampson was last seen on 226 near Vanderlinder Road in Savona. He’s been missing from oak hill since this morning, but he does not know the area at all. Please share and help us get him home! He’s a Great Pyrenees and friendly but likely very scared and confused!

The holidays are fast approaching! We are nearly booked up for Thanksgiving...and Christmas is getting there, too!!! If you will need boarding for your cats and dogs, now is the time to make those reservations!! You can book via our Pet Portal or just call or email.

If your dog hasn't been to Happy Tails before, please note that we do require a social evaluation be completed before we can schedule a boarding stay.

We had the absolute joy of celebrating our dear friend Zorro's 8th birthday today!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Zorro, an English Lab, had so much fun partying with all his friends including Juliet the Rottweiler mix and Ollie the Bernese Mountain Dog! Zorro's mom, dad, and baby sister made all his friends treat bags to take home. And they even brought some yummy treats for the humans, too! 🧁 🧁🧁🧁

As you probably already know, our area will experience some very warm weather over the next several days. 🥵 When we have extreme temperatures (whether cold or hot), we utilize our indoor playrooms more than usual in order to keep the pups safe. If you look at our webcams and don't see your dog out in the yard, there is a good possibility that they are inside for a cool-off break.

We hope you all stay cool! And, if you enjoy taking your dog for walks, remember, the pavement will be very hot so keep that in mind as you're on your stroll. 😊

Today we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the SIXTEENTH birthday of one of our favorite friends, Simon!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ You would NEVER in a million years guess that Simon is 16...he doesn't look it and he doesn't act it. Simon still jumps for joy when his dad comes to pick him up! Simon celebrated his big day with his long-time friends Willow the Golden Retriever and Tucker J. the Border Collie mix. 🎂🥳🎉

Josie partied in the sunshine with all her pals, including Digby the wire-coated lab mix and Luna the black lab. Josie's mom sent treat bags for her FURends to take home!!
