Picacho Peak State Park is closed today, June 8, 2024 due to a fatal plane crash on site this morning. Pinal County Sheriff's Office is overseeing the emergency response. Our sincere condolences go to the pilot's family. Future updates on the park's reopening will be provided on our website, AZStateParks.com/Picacho.
