In September 2005 Dr. Bart decided it was time to start his very own practice. He left a large multi-doctor hospital where he had practiced for many years and opened Animal Medical Center of Corona. A place where patien

ts were treated as he would treat his own pets and where owners would feel like family, not just clients. Since our humble beginnings we have grown our AMC Family 10 fold. Thank you to all our loyal clients and pets! About the Dr. Bart
Dr. Barton C. (AKA- Dr. Bart) received his Bachelors degree in 1981 and his Veterinary Doctorate in 1987 from University of California Davis. He has worked in the veterinary field for over 30 years and has served the Corona/Norco community since 1987

We had an awesome day fishing the Florida Keys with - Captain Ed and .tr 1st mate Mikey. The sea was rough that day, lots of white caps. Not a lot of boats went out due to this, but, at least it was warm!! It was well worth dealing with the rough waters - 20 Mahi Mahi and one 4 ft Wahoo!! 5 Mahi were too small (20 inch minimum), and one that got eaten on the way in by a huge barracuda. We took some of our haul to where they prepared some of the Wahoo and Mahi 3 ways - Cajun blackened, panko jalapeño and panko with their proprietary special sauce. Plus, panko alligator appetizer. With , , and .tr . I highly recommend , lots of fun and they know how to find the fish!!

Was October busy or what?! Lots of stuff to review! Happy birthday to Becky!!!🎂🥳. We got Wendy and Susie celebrating work anniversaries at 1 and 10 years🎈🎉! Shannon also celebrates 8 years and currently works remotely👩‍💻🎊 Sam is having twins boys👶👶!!! AND, of course, we got Halloween 🎃 🎃!! Paula the Princess won the pet costume contest (and it was really tough to pick a winner as there were so many fantastic costumes). THEN, it was party time, and our theme this year was AMCC Halloween Horror Night, followed by our annual Halloween potluck loaded with quality calories😋😋!! Friday saw Bre and Sandy's last in person day with us as they and their hubbies are off to Tennessee BUT, they week continue to with remotely answering calls, emails and texts. We'll missed their smiling faces but they are still part of the awesome AMCC family. Of course, last but never least, as voted by a jury of his peers, Dr. Sean is our Employee of the Month. Congrats Dr. Sean!! Since he already has his own parking space, Osirys, who was a very close second place, gets the coveted guaranteed parking space for the rest of the month! Now, it's time for the Thanksgiving Season, 🦃🍗 and even more quality calories to come!! Happy Holiday Season to all!!

HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN APPRECIATION WEEK ❣️❣️❣️❣️ This week we celebrate those who are the backbone of the veterinary field, the ones who work hard to save lives, make your loved pets more comfortable and are there when we have to say goodbye. Monday, they had breakfast from Antech Diagnostics. Tuesday, cookies from Patterson, donuts from Care Credit AND an awesome Chick-fil-A lunch from Royal Canin. Goody baskets were provided by All Pet Card and Victor Medical!!! Wednesday, our very own Nato, who is now our Zoetis Technical Rep, bought the team "Nothing Bundt Cake" cupcakes, and pizza lunch was provided by Moichor Diagnostics. I think I gained 10 pounds making this post!! BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! April and Dr. Bart have arranged for all members of our tech and nursing team to get 20 minute massages throughout the week. From kennel to veterinary assistants to room nurses and our licensed RVTs (Registered Veterinary Technicians), our unsung heroes, we salute you and we live you. (More to come - team pics and more quality calories as the week continues!!!)

WELL, THIS HAPPENED in the wee hours Wednesday morning. As you watch the videos (well worth your time!) you will see that this Amazon driver made sure he took out our water main as well as the hydrant up front and some signage. We got water restored around 3 pm AND - NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS MINI DISASTER!! Life is what it is, no reason to get mad, Amazon is taking care of the bill!!

Hello Friends of AMCC!

Just a quick reminder that we will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2nd, in honor of Labor Day. If you are going to be having a BBQ and/or inviting friends over, be careful about what your pets have access to. Don't feed them lots of treats and snacks, and don't let your guests do so. For some reason, guests will give your dogs food items at gatherings that they would never give to their own pets!!

Also, looking at the upcoming forecast, it is supposed to be VERY HOT - high 90's andupwards of triple digit in some parts this coming weekend, so be careful and mindful of heat stroke. Have a safe and fun Labor Day weekend! God Bless.

It's another hot one out there and will be for many days to come🔥🔥. Heat stroke, burned foot pads, and other avoidable trauma and pain. While shoes can be great for your dog, they also prevent sweating and cooling so don't leave them on for too long! Have a great and blessed weekend, and keep you abs your pets happy and safe!🐶🐕🔥🔥

Animal Medical Center of Corona is proud to invest in the best technology available for our patients—because they deserve it! Our CT scanner employs Vimago imaging technology with High-Definition 3D Volumetric Imaging (HDVI), which produces incredibly detailed 3D images of your pet’s anatomy. Not only does this system produce superior images, but it also involves much less radiation than X-rays, meaning that it’s safer for your pet!
Your pet’s veterinarian might suggest a CT scan for:
● Dentistry
● Tumor identification and assessment
● Neck and back disc issues
● Trauma assessment
● Foreign body detection
● Surgical planning

In general, we are less expensive and easier to get in than at most of the specialty hospitals offer CT scans. Plus our staff is second to none when it comes to performing scans on exotics- birds, reptiles, rabbits, Guinea pigs, ferrets and other small exotics mammals.

If you have any questions about our advanced imaging and how it can help your pet, contact us today at (951) 493-6771!

Our pets can’t tell us what’s wrong or where it hurts, so having the best diagnostics available is crucial. X-rays are a good place to start, but in many cases, it doesn’t provide a complete picture. Enter ultrasound!

Ultrasounds create real-time moving images of a patient’s internal organs and systems, and when used alone or in conjunction with X-rays, they provide a wealth of invaluable information.

Ultrasound is often used for:
● Full or targeted abdominal scans
● Echocardiograms
● Ultrasound-guided biopsy and sample collection
● Pregnancy checks

If you have an ill or injured pet, an ultrasound might be essential in diagnosing the condition. If you have any questions about our ultrasound capabilities, call us today at (951) 493-6771.
