Guess where I was last week!!! 🦌🦬🤠
BOZEMAN, MONTANA!!!!
Forest covered mountains, wide open space, cows, horses, greenery, no traffic, fall colors, rushing creeks along the roads, 75° weather, dogs hanging out of the cab of every car and truck. Did a lot of driving cuz I was checking out land for sale in different areas. Outdoor fireplaces at Starbucks!!!
Blue blue clear sky, did I mention no traffic? Nobody tailgates, nobody passes you then cuts back in front of you, nobody honks their horn. The college kids working in the stores are polite and ask if they can help. In no store are you ignored, I was in neighborhood stores too, not touristy stores.
Found an amazing hike some girls from Dallas told me I should do, LAVA LAKE TRAIL, 6 miles out and back, rocky, rough trail, ZERO wifi, it's suggested you carry bear spray 🤷♀️, didn't have any. My first hike in a while, but had to get to the top, pics will explain why.... AMAZING!
Went to Yellowstone! 2 1/2 hr drive, lose wifi and then no radio. No problem, I was mesmerized by the land. Found the Elk and my Buffalo❤️!!!! Yes I pushed the limit of closeness. Most pics I zoomed in, the pic with me in it is actual, about 20ft, then a guy said "I think you're too close, he'll charge at you". You are correct sir. So I scooted cuz I think he was side eyeing me, the Buffalo not the guy🤣. I watch for 2 hours, no kidding, could have sat there all day. Such amazing wild creatures.
Then heading out of Yellowstone, getting darker, driving back thru Big Sky... Zero lights except for another car that might come by. Pitch, pitch black. Turned my headlights off and couldn't see my hand in front of my face🌚 but the stars in the sky, omg!!! 🌌 such clear sky and bright stars. Beautiful country. And you drive the limit posted or slower cuz, boom! 🦌 an Elk jumps out to cross the road, I almost had a heart attack. Mama and her baby eating near the side of the road. Lots of trucks on that road, driving fast. Poor animals, just trying to survive in their space we invaded and some traffic not respecting that😔.
Also, Didn't find no cowboys😔😔. But the guys out there are good looking, rugged, t shirt, jeans, boots, cap. 👍😍I'll be back.
