Update Dec 13, 2024: when I returned from vacation a few days ago, I went to the shelter to check on Huey. Found out that the same day he was returned he was fostered out again.... possibly foster to adopt. Good for him. He is a rambunctious but good boy. Supervision and education will help him mature to be the best boy. ❤

Update: Dec 8 2024- Huey was returned to the shelter yesterday. Having and managing a 5 month old puppy in a home with an 11 year old dog was not going to work. 😔
He's available if anybody is interested.

❤️🐶This guy!!! It's been a fun, interesting, funny, exhausting 8 weeks...12 weeks to 20 weeks old. Foster Huey was transfered today to his new Foster to Adopt home!!!! Yay!🥳 I'm so happy for him and glad he spent his early weeks with me.

This guy, almost 5 months old.... 🐾tossing him all kinds of toys and he wants this piece of 2x4....🤷‍♀️
Have not trained 'place' with him, he's just a natural with getting a toy and taking it to a dog bed🤗, adorable. He's a really good pup. 🐶 He always gets that curious look with a wrinkled forehead🤔.
I did a meet and greet with him a few days ago and they're really interested in him😁🤞.

Cold Weather Reminder 🐈 ⚠️ ❄️

During colder temperatures, stray cats may crawl up under your car hood or wheel wells for warmth.

We are already hearing cases of cats in car engines so we wanted to remind you to do the following:

🐾 Keep your cats indoors 🏡

🐾 Bang on your car hood before getting in and starting the engine….listen👂🏻

🐾 Honk your horn….listen 👂🏻

🐾 Look for signs like paw prints and check under the car and wheel wells. 👀

Doing these steps only take a minute or two and it can save a cats life! 💛

🐾❤️ Foster Puppy Huey .... off to a good start learning about being in a home. He's now about 18 weeks old. Potty trained if kept on a loose schedule. Getting better comes with age and routine. Doing well at offering a sit or down to receive things, have doors open. He finds all the dog toys interesting but also finds rocks to carry around🤔. 🐕‍🦺
