Today, The Grinch took some pictures with pets and staff. We then put him to work mopping and answering phones.

But when we caught him trying to steal the donation box filled with pet food and dog toys, we decided to send him home.

He will be back on Thursday and Friday for pet photos and to deliver the donations to in case you want to come in for a photo or to drop off a pet donation!

September is Senior Pet Health Month. By the age of seven, most pets are entering their senior years. Health problems can go undetected. Many diseases, including, heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, and cancer all increase with age and have the potential to worsen within a matter of weeks. Even pets that appear normal can have an underlying problem, which is why running a senior wellness panel on older pets can be crucial.

Senior pets often also have dental disease. You may notice bad breath, sensitive when eating, tartar build up, and more. This is preventable with routine dental cleanings.
