New Year’s Eve: Keep Your Pets Safe and Happy! 🎆🐾

As we gear up to ring in the new year, don’t forget to prepare your furry friends for the celebrations! Loud fireworks and festivities can be stressful for pets, so here are a few tips:

1️⃣ Create a Safe Space: Set up a cozy, quiet spot where your pet can retreat if they feel overwhelmed.

2️⃣ Keep Them Inside: Fireworks can frighten pets, leading to panic and escape attempts. Ensure your pet is securely indoors and their ID tags/microchip info is up to date.

3️⃣ Calm Their Nerves: Consider calming aids like a snug vest, soothing music, or veterinarian-recommended remedies if your pet gets anxious.

4️⃣ Avoid Dangerous Foods: Keep party snacks, alcohol, and chocolate out of reach—they can be harmful to pets.

5️⃣ Exercise Early: A good walk or play session earlier in the day can help tire your pet out and reduce stress later.

Thank you, .corona, for such a fun time and great food at our annual holiday party! We have such a wonderful team at AAA Animal Hospital. Dr.Alvandi had the pleasure of hosting this party last weekend, and it was so much fun being together, doing the Secret Santa exchange and the white elephant game.

We look forward to 2025 and all the great care that this team will bring to all the great pets and all the wonderful pet owners in our community!

Did you know that the Corona Public Library has a community partner named Paws of Love? On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, they bring therapy dogs to the library for kids to read to them. We headed over one Wednesday to check it out. It was nice to see the interaction between the dogs and kids. What a wonderful idea to have in our pet loving community. The library is right down the street from AAA Animal Hospital! Today, October 23rd will be the next Read To A Dog visit that they will have.
