Last day to prep your emergency animal supplies before the storm hits!. Check your fire extinguishers, move tanks away from windows, gas up your generators/cars, get some bins/deli cups together for your inverts & reptiles in case you need to evacuate, keep emergency blankets & hand warmers on hand, & put together a kit with shelf stable foods for your animals (freeze dried bugs/veggies, Repashy foods, dog/cat food cans, etc). This would be a great time to feed snakes & older spiders, or other pets that can go longer periods without food.

We will be unavailable for the next few days until weather clears up. Ya'll be safe! 💚

Got to spend some outside time with our Chunky boy the other day🥹. He's been spending a lot of time on the bottom of his enclosure lately, so I know it's only a matter of time...💔.
That's the hardest part about raising spiders. They have such short lifespans, & you get so attached to each one.

We are currently out of stock on pods & spiders! I can still do resin jewelry & enclosures, but these beautiful Regal slings will be ready for adoption in a few months. Sorry I've been so quiet on here lately. The new year has not been kind to me. New Years Eve, I lost a very special friend, & then battled flu & upper respiratory infections for a few weeks. I'm still not 100%, but I'm getting back to myself slowly but surely. I still have a few jumpers available, as well as Bumblebee Millipedes, but no isopods at the moment. Message me if you have any questions. I'll be posting an updated list soon. And thank you for your support through these hard times. You guys are awesome 💚

This gorgeous lady just matured last week. She's the first of Yeep's potential females to mature so far, & she's absolutely stunning! 🥰 Not to mention, she's now sporting the most adorable mustache I've ever seen🤣.

Resin jewelry has been in the works for us the past 2 years, but we haven't released any for sale yet. Mostly because my time is pretty occupied by sling/pod care, plus a full time job, but also because the confidence to put art out just wasn't there. I'm fully prepped to have some exciting pieces for you guys by Christmas. All of our insect jewelry is ethically sourced. This is a lone 22 mm plug that I polished today (she glows in the dark too😉). With the weather getting colder, I'm hoping to source another deceased moth to complete the set. Let me know what ya'll think. (Excuse my hands. They're ugly, but they work hard😅)

Apologies for the shaky footage! Its so hard to keep the camera still when the macro is zoomed in this much. Mama Crumb's babies have finally hatched!! 🥰 When slings leave the sac, they are considered i2, and with Tarantulas they start off as "Eggs with Legs" before molting into baby spiders. I assumed that was the case with these lil guys, but I wasn't able to get the close up footage with Yeep's babies to confirm this. I have a much better camera now, & I have been closely monitoring Crumb & her eggs. It appears to me that they don't have an EWL stage, & instead just come out of the egg very pale & darken up shortly after. All slings in the sac are dark now, & I don't see any exoskeletons in the nest yet. So technically, they only actually molt once in the nest. If I can get ahold of some more experienced br33d3rs to discuss this with for better clarity, I will let ya'll know. But for now, hatch date for Crumb's first slings is September 10th. 🥰 Save the Date!
